  1. Taken all in all - the worst thing to happen to the Sport as far as British Speedway is concerned. Of course, that is only my opinion.
  2. Perhaps not the words I would have picked Drop a cog. But that is very true. :approve:
  3. ........................ and the other Brother is?
  4. Would that be Harold? ........... or do I have the wrong Stamford Bridge?
  5. I think KK was waiting for Tai as he came off the Track. I would say that the main instigator after the Race was KK - why - I don't know.
  6. An excellent Post with which I 100% concur.
  7. Well I think British Speedway does need Robert Lambert. Robert Lambert is a 'Star' in the making - we don't have so many of them that we can throw away such a talent in such a cavalier manner. British Speedway is on it's knees - if we are to have any hope of climbing back to our feet we will need Riders like Robert Lambert. The question is surely - does Robert Lambert need British Speedway? We shall see.
  8. He'll need to work for it though. Does he have the dedication and singlemindedness? As for Emil - he isn't even in it sadly.
  9. Still think the old Uprights were more suitable for the Tracks they are expected to Race on. I don't expect anyone to agree with me though..................
  10. I think Ward will win a World Championship some day. He will need to work hard on his behaviour, attitude and fitness both mental and physical. He has made a good start on his return to Racing - let's all hope it continues - should it do so, the sky is the limit for him. Should he not - then he will be just another great Rider who has wasted his talent. I am most definitely not a Ward Fan - but I sincerely hope that he does win the Championship as his undoubted talent indicates that he should do so.
  11. What for - to stick your head in it? I could make a few suggestions what to fill it with.
  12. I didn't realise that - thanks for the Information Dan. :approve:
  13. SKY has been very spasmodic this Season though. Is it an indication that they are losing interest in Speedway, along with the fact that they have already ditched the GPs. Could the same thing happen as regards the League. I am well aware that Eurosport couldn't do it. How about the BBC/ITV - they hardly have any Sport left nowadays - they might take a punt on Speedway to fill up their schedules. Then again - perhaps not.
  14. For some sydney - mistakes are not allowed. As you say Greg has made one - I also agree his Ban should have been for longer. However, perhaps his exemplary behaviour record to date was taken in to account. After so many years of unblemished behaviour within our Sport maybe he has earned a bit of leniency. He has also been a tremendous ambassador for Speedway over the years so he did have plenty of credit in the Bank.
  15. That sort of thing has happened before in Speedway - and I have never been able to understand why this happens? Common sense would seem to say - get the Meeting run. Why not?
  16. As times move on gustix, the memory of these great old Riders sadly decrease. No one can ever take away the Honours that they won in our Sport though - and a lot of their names are etched high in the Speedway firmament. Thankfully there are Record Books - so in that sense they will never be forgotten.
