If this proves to be correct - which I have no reason to doubt that it is, it is great News for both Belle Vue in particular and Speedway in this Country too. Perhaps this will stop all those people carping about the name of the Stadium being the National Speedway Stadium - because that is exactly what it will be. Good luck to all involved with this Project I hope it succeeds and goes from strength to strength. Thanks to good forward Planning this Project will give Speedway a Stadium in which we can all feel justly proud.

That's my point - if you are going to do something like that - don't make it obvious. It does nothing for your image or more importantly that of the Sport.

Why not screm - Poland seem to do all right, and they have more than one. Perhaps the British GP at Cardiff and the English GP at Belle Vue. As most know, I am not a Fan of the GP System but I can't understand why, with the System as it is, we could not Host two GPs

I don't agree. The new Stadium will be used, as I understand it, for training Riders. Those Riders will come from all parts of the United Kingdom, not just Manchester and surrounding area, so in that sense it is a National Stadium. It will also be the best Speedway Stadium in the Country by a country mile. Ergo I believe it has the absolute right to be called the National Stadium. I wonder if jealousy and envy has more to do with the barbed comments about the new Stadium being styled the National Speedway Stadium.

As I said. Just watch - it will go somewhere else now that I have said that. :blush:
