One of the things that hack me off is when a Rider with quick reflexes makes a very fast start and is then pulled back for infringing the Starting Rules - in my opinion that is wrong.
As it happens I also have some sympathy for those who try to anticipate the Start too. They gamble - if they touch the Tapes they are off 15 metres - if they don't they are away and good luck to them. The whole point being that they can win or lose on that gamble.
Once again though - it comes down to Cost.
If the Promoters have to spend money, they will not have it. In the current Financial Climate with Austerity and everything - I, for one, find it hard to blame them....
Thanks for the information rmc.
In this instance I was not blaming "Johnny Foreigner" I was blaming an Organisation that I have been totally against since Ted Heath conned us in to believing we were joining a Common Market. Even those who Voted for the Common Market did not expect things to develop as far as they have, in particular the right being removed from us to say who we will have and who we will not have in our Country.
Yes - they are.
They are also milking Speedway for all they are worth - with very little, if anything at all, being put back in to the Sport.
What I would say in stevehone's defense is that Photography may be the way that he earns his living.
If so, anyone else printing his work may be affecting his income - and that would be wrong.
I only offer this as a possibility, and if so, would be an understandable reason for his reaction.
Why do these idiots feel the need to do something like this.
I really cannot understand why......................................................
B*STARDS!!!
