  1. That would be a very interesting read I think.
  2. You said that - not me. Perhaps a change of scenary may be good for Mr. Lindgren - who knows?
  3. In a time of Rider shortage - where are all of these extra Riders going to come from?
  4. Rememberance Day should never have been mentioned in the context of this Thread. That is just plain wrong. With respect to our National Anthem - Tai has been brought up and spent more than half his life living in Australia - is it all that surprising that he has a lot of affection for the place. Aussies are, in general, an irreverent lot anyway and Tai has obviously picked up some of this irreverence. I believe he has already stated that he wishes to return to Australia when his Speedway career is over, so I would wish him well. In the meantime why don't we all take full advantage of the fact that he is British, is winning World Championships for Great Britain, is riding for Great Britain and not hold it against him that he feels Australian. I don't find that a surprise given his upbringing. Personnally - I am glad that he is riding for Great Britatain and that he is bringing a bit of glory to British Speedway. GO TAI !!!
  5. Welcome back Mr. Shovlar. No doubt you will liven things up around here. :approve:
  6. I like the look of this Team - but - will it happen?
  7. They will however be cheaper and at the end of the day, that is what I believe counts.
  8. If you have fixed Race Nights in the Premier League - depending on what nights they are - you will force certain Tracks to close. If that is what everyone wants - go ahead. Landlords at various Tracks will not be told by the BSPA which Night they can hold their Dog Meetings - and why should they - they are the Landlords. In a Utopian World it would be a very good idea to have a dedicated Race Night for all three Leagues - unfortunately this is Great Britain not Utopia.
  9. Wrong!!! In 2014 you could use Double Points twice. You can't now. So, obviously you are wrong about that. I didn't say that I had to like the Rules and Regulations .................................. Or - are you trying to be clever as usual? Oh - and until they remove the Double Points altogether, as you know, I will not go. Doesn't alter the validity of what I Posted though.
  10. Yes - wouldn't it be good if the Rules and Regulations were the same every year. It would be far better for the Sport if they stopped fiddling with Rules and Regulations every year to suit this or that Promoter. People are not totally gullible - if they see things don't seem right- they walk away. Far too many people have already done that.
  11. You were so startled by that comment Rob - you left the 'B' off the end of your name. For what it is worth I totally agree with you.
  12. I'm sorry - I don't understand this?????? Probably everyone else does - but I don't.
  13. You wouldn't have expected them to use new ones would you?
  14. Great News so far. I await the other five names with interest.
  15. Have a word with them about getting rid of 'Double Points' then Philip please. Then I can return to attending Speedway Meetings. Thanking you in anticipation. Yours in hope, Ian.
  16. Belle Vue, Redcar, Scunthorpe do off the top of my head - unless I'm missing something moxey63.
