  1. If you want to send me the info I'll happily add it.
  2. All of these: And the mother of them all, from someone who was, a couple of pages back, bemoaning spurious comments made by others: That's the end of my contribution, I'm afraid, unless there are any genuine questions.
  3. Well, half the things you've posted on here are blatantly incorrect and I haven't held it against you. Although your eyesight seems so bad that you should perhaps start to wonder if those records you keep banging on about are actually there after all, and you've just overlooked them.
  4. Why am I not surprised? Promotion by exposure.
  5. Erm, it is! For the results side, anyway. And Germany, CZR, Denmark, Russia, Australia... Results index: http://wwosbackup.proboards.com/board/55/results-index
  6. I do find it ironic that your post slating us has instead promoted us. Thanks. You're assuming the results come from speedway updates, but that's not the case (and I'm pretty sure they don't cover the 80s!). As great a resource as it is, there are often mistakes on websites, including the teams' own, and even, would you believe, the Speedway Star and the SCB? I don't use a single source for meeting results - often it's four, five, or even more to ensure they are as accurate as possible. That's why it often takes hours to do a single meeting result. Yes. I was going to work on indexing riders year by year, and team by team eventually. Unfortunately I am only one person and I do have a life outside of this! Like Frigbo said, it's taken four years to get to this point, but it's a work in progress and I'm still finishing off a few results from this year at the moment. Will get more on there probably after Christmas. As for the point of this website? Let's call it a hobby. Basically, if you don't like it, don't use it!
  7. Many thanks for clearing another one up Steve. Wish I was able to return the favour but so far I've been unable to help with your requests. I shall keep looking though. Thanks again.
  8. Yeah. I've been working out the rider order from the heat details in the SS, but, as you can see, it's not possible from those details. However, I don't have Eric in heat 13? I have: Ht 13..Fiora, Sumner, Crabtree, Doyle My problem is both riders (EB and ME) were substitued in heats 12 and 13 with Pusey and Doyle respectively. Thanks, Steve. No hurry.
  9. Does anyone know which number Eric Broadbelt rode at in this meeting please? It would have been either 4 or 5. Edited to add the date of the meeting was 31.08.86.
  10. Brilliant. Many thanks for your help. Cheeky last question. You (or anyone else) don't happen to know the date of the Wimbledon v Swindon BL meeting for that year too, do you please?
  11. I realise this is a long shot, but does anyone have either the date or result of the Wimbledon v Sheffield British League fixture from 1984 please?
  12. Last reports said he was back in Poland getting treatment. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/381830/stan-zdrowia-emila-sajfutdinowa-suskiewicz-wrocil-do-polski-i-sie-rehabilituje
  13. Would someone who was at this meeting check their programme and confirm who the rider in blue was in heat 7 for me please?
  14. Did anyone go to the Holsted meeting yesterday? I was wondering if Brady Kurtz was as impressive as his score suggests?
  15. Well, thanks to whoever changed it and made it right again.
  16. Was the Munkebo meeting run on Wednesday?
  17. One for SCB, or anyone else who wants to add something. We all know the referees make mistakes at times, but we are led to believe the SCB's results are the official ones, no matter what. Does that count even in this instance, where they have a completely different rider in the meeting? One who doesn't even ride EL? Will Steve Worrall now have "officially" ridden for King's Lynn in 2013? That's not to mention the wrong rider appearing in heat 15. http://www.scbgb.co.uk/pdf/results/Swindon%2002.05.13%20res.pdf And if they see this, can they change it, or is the ref's report final?
  18. Thank you so much for tying up that loose end for me! Really grateful.
  19. I know this is a long shot, but I'm hoping someone can help. The meeting I'm currently looking for some assistance with is the NL fixture between Mildenhall and Glasgow in 1986. The Speedway Star gives the result as Derek Cooper coming third in both heats 10 and 11, but Geoff Powell was in one of these heats, not Cooper. The problem being, as they were both reserves, it's not possible to work it out. Does anyone out there have a programme of this meeting, possibly, who could give a definitive answer?
  20. Can someone who was at this meeting confirm the result of heats 2 and 13 from a programme please?
  21. The Polish websites are giving Holta a bonus point for his last heat, where there were two non-finishers behind him. I didn't think that was in the rules - can someone clarify please?
  22. Thanks, but Tobi Kroner's website says different, so I wanted someone else who was there if possible (as I know the other two obviously were!) If anyone's interested it was 4.
  23. I don't suppose anyone was at the DM final in Teterow and can confirm how many points Michael Diener scored please?
