Thats fair comment and I agree to a point. Every rider has poor meetings, but 3 points from your top man and number 1 is taking it to the extreme. You'd expect second strings and reserves to have those meetings, but 3 points is unacceptable from your number 1.

Why would a rider off gate 2, be looking at the magnets all the way over at gate 4 rather than those closest to him on the inside? Make little sense. I though the same as Catch22 actually, I thought he was looking directly at the tapes in front of him old school style, but I'm obviously wrong.

My wife comes from Bury st Edmunds and is a big Ippo fan. She's been to a few of these too, and while there wasnt an official questions and answers session, just about everybody approached the promotion afterwards with questions and those questions as far as I know we're answered.

I enjoyed the meeting but I agree with others the track wasn't great. My first meeting of the new season and now looking forward to the next.

Aww give over! He's not riding in to Ipswich on his white horse to do them a favour or dig Ipswich and their fans out of a hole, he was offered the chance to earn himself some extra cash and he accepted. Ipswich fans are right to be concerned as he's crap. Having said that he'll probably score some points as the Peterborough reserves are not too hot either.

The viewing at Ipswich whether you like it or not, is second to none with it's raised terracing. Certainly the tracks you mention as being "better", don't even come remotely close.

Well said. Ellis has gotten off lightly compared to the abuse Jerran Hart suffered a few seasons ago. That wasn't simply a case of not rating the riders ability, it was a complete character assassination and became a personal vendetta for whatever reason. It made for very uncomfortable reading and god only knows how this person has survived so long on here. Mischievous banter is one thing, but some crossed the line with his nasty, spiteful attacks on certain individuals at Ipswich speedway.
