  1. Don't give up the day job Baldy!! Well done Berwick and good luck in the competition.
  2. Think this could be a good entertaining meeting. The Berwick meeting last season at Foxhall was my favourite of the whole year. Barker, Vissing, Doolan and Jorgensen can all win races here so it could be a cracker.
  3. More than a few spits in town centre. Roads are wet already and sky looks ominous..
  4. Crikey have we really lost four in a row!? I haven't been keeping count to be honest! That's really poor from a team as good as ours. And yes, I still believe we have a really good team. Next week is going to be very important. We have two cup ties on Thursday and Friday and we need to progress in both. We all know the holy grail is the League title and the one we're all desperate for, but it's very hard to win with several really strong teams this year especially. That's why we need to progress in both cups because it would still be a good season if we can win any silverware, if it's not exactly the one we want.
  5. Well it's the hope that kills you! BBC forecast on breakfast this morning showed the band of rain not quite reaching as far north as Ipswich. Close, but not hitting the town. Gonna be a wait and see day.
  6. The BBC forecast still has rain from 2 until midnight, with that rain heavy between 3 and 7.
  7. Looks a write off unfortunately. Still time I suppose for that big band of rain to disperse in to showers, but if the forecast in the morning is the same as right now, little to no chance.
  8. I wouldn't say dump the EL exactly, but seeing the same old clubs and tracks over and over again does get a bit tiresome. There are some terrific racing tracks in the PL that everyone is aware of, but there are plenty of others I'd like to see get a showing too. There should definitely be more variety on Sky and more PL alongside the EL would be most welcome.
  9. LOL you're right! It didn't when I sent the link I promise you, it had a completely dry day for Thursday. Obviously changed since then and just goes to show that it constantly changes hour by hour.
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2646057?day=3 I always find the BBC forecast to be the most accurate. Not a drop forecast on there.
  11. Disagree to be honest. I can immediately think of two where you could afford to have a couple of riders have an off day and still win comfortably at home..
  12. Manzares has a spin after the meeting at Mildenhall yesterday so fingers crossed he came through that ok.
  13. Heeps will definitely be missing as he's out for at least a month with a broken wrist.
  14. Not a bad weekend really. Given ourselves a great chance to progress in the Cup and earned a hard fought point at Newcastle after having a terrible start in the first couple of heats. Must admit when I read on Updates that the Ipswich riders were unhappy with track conditions (again), I thought it would be another meeting where Tungate wouldn't turn up but to be fair to him he chipped in with vital points.
  15. Good fight back in the closing heats to take a point! Plenty of spills by the sounds of things, was the track as tricky as it sounded?
