Ricky Wells replaces King. -
Not a chance. He'll be our number 1 again next season. I don't care if Covatti is no longer on a cheap average, and little chance of improving his current one. I know to be successful you need riders capable of improving their averages, but I'd genuinely take entertainment over success, although both would obviously be the preference! For that reason, Covatti would be the first name on the team sheet for me, he's been an absolute pleasure to watch this season.

LOL could well be. For some reason I had it in my mind he was hinting at a delaying tactic until Tungate returns. -

So, Ipswich v Glasgow then, could be a decent meeting.. -
Need three points to safeguard our place in the top 6. Can we beat Glasgow at fortress Foxhall? LOL Seriously we need to sort this home nonsense out. Fine on the road but struggle at home pretty much all season which is bizarre. I'll go with a Witches win and Glasgow to take a point back up North.

Rotten luck for Panthers this year on the injury front! Get well soon Simon Lambert.

He wasn't and still isn't. I think Tungate has had a raw deal from sections of our support. The lad has performed far better than the majority of others who have come over, some of our riders included (Heeps). But he isn't quite number 1 standard at the moment. He's a good second/Third heatleader, but not a number 1. He's still very young in racing terms if not age, so still has time on his side to get there but I'd say at the moment he's at his level.

If he didn't see it, yes. Sport is littered with incidents where punishable incidents go unpunished because the referee didn't see said incidents. Unless there is video evidence which can be viewed after the event. The bottom line is, a referee should NOT be allowed to issues fines for incidents that he didn't see it's as simple as that. There is video evidence it seems and that will now be viewed. If the authorities disagree with Tungate's version of events and in their minds, the footage conclusively shows that Tungate deliberately knocked off another rider after the race, then they will issue sufficient punishment. But it has to be conclusive. Reading the comments on here, particularly from HT who as a neutral was left in no doubt that Tungate intentionally knocked Auty off, then if that it was the footage shows and the SCB are also left in no doubt then Tungate will be rightly punished for those actions. He will then have to accept any punishment that comes his way and so will Ipswich.
