Surely there is a local residents group who would be looking to oppose this too? I know we like to think that most neighbours hate the speedway, but in reality, most who I've ever met would much rather keep their lovely views, access to schools and doctors and reasonable road access and tolerate the speedway even if they aren't keen on it.

Possibly won't achieve much other than being another thorn in AEPG's side, but I note you can leave reviews on their Facebook page - apparently they haven't bothered switching reviews off yet, but most likely will do soon. May as well let them know our thoughts via reviews too Link to their FB reviews page

That move from Doyle was disgraceful. He knew exactly where Basso was as chose to fence him. He should really have got more than just an exclusion.

yes, We were hoping to make the 2021 match, but realised we wouldn't be able to make it so requested in the refund in December. I'll go through our credit card as they've already offered to claim it back. Fingers crossed it works. At this point it's not even about the money, it's about the principle!

Sorry, I didn't make it clear. I did ask last year, they said I had to wait 180 days for the refund to be processed, but said in the email that the application for refund had been accepted. Just really grates, I run a kids party company and had to refund a small fortune in parties people had pre-paid for, yet Wroclaw speedway seem to be giving us 2 fingers!

Anybody else received refunds for the 2020 GP tickets? My refund request was accepted and I was told 180 day, now they seem to be back tracking saying refund requests had to be made by the end of August! Suspect I'm going to have to claim via the credit card :-/

Thanks Steve. The problem we also have is that we tend to be out working until 6/7pm so likely to need to watch an hour or 2 delayed :-(

This is what I'm thinking. Realistically I think we're only looking at needing the sports channels May- September so really not worth signing up to a full package. How do you get Eurosport player for the year for £20? Is that an Amazon offer?

Currently it's with Talk Talk but contract is coming up for renewal and I'd rather move away. Their sports packages are really expensive. I think I've found a deal for Eurosport player @ £5 a month and BT sports @ £10 a month through my EE mobile account. I know £15 a month isn't much less than Youview, but I could get it for "speedway months" only.

Hi guys! Hoping somebody can advise. I'm trying to prepare for speedway on TV in 2021, I'd like to be able to watch Premiership speedway along with the GP series and SON (assuming they go ahead). The problem I have is otherwise we don't really watch tv. I looked at getting the "players" but as I'd need Eurosport and BT Sports, that works out to about £20+ per month which is about what it'd cost for full Plusnet/Youview. Last season I watched some on Youtube but it was hideous watching it all with either Polish or Russian commentary! Is there any better way of getting just BT sports speedway and Eurosport or do I need to "bite the bullet" and get a full tv package?

Personally either transfer to next year or refund would be best for us. Ryanair cancelled our flights anyway :-(

Thanks for the warning! I had heard that they were awful and needed to confirm a couple of things anyway so I got them on the live chat where they confirmed we'd get a refund back to the original payment method within 10-14 days. Got them to send a transcript of the conversation and screen-shot the convo! Tbh I always pay by credit card and have annual travel insurance so should be covered one way or another!

Ahh well, that's our Wroclaw dream out the window for 2020. Ryanair have cancelled our outbound flight and offered a full refund or a change of flights. Problem is, our travel insurance say if we change flights, it's a new contract and they wouldn't insure us, so no option but to take a refund on the flight. Fortunately the insurance company have said they'll cover the GP tickets too if we don't get a refund direct.

I did finally get some. I think there were a lot of people reserved several seats and after 30 minutes of non-purchase they released them as there seemed to be a mini re-release at 12:30. V. happy to have tickets - rubbish seats, but seats are seats! Won't ever try that again though! Far to close to not getting any!

Well never again will I bother with that! All tickets sold within 30 minutes and I've spent the last 30 minutes watching a spinning wheel whilst it tries to book seats! Where's best in town to watch the GP on tv? Gonna have 2 kids with me so nothing too rough pls.

Man alive! Registering for their ticketing system is like pulling teeth! Just keeps asking me for a ZIP code, have entered a post code, but it won't accept it! Any ideas please?

Hi folks! Hoping for tickets for this but have seen they're a in a bit short supply. Is the 4th Feb date the release date or is that just a guess? I'm hoping to get on there on release day to get some! Any hints / tips appreciated :-)
