Does Nick Morris also come into that equation? He didn't ride yesterday, how come you aren't venting your argument towards him as well seen as he could also be classed as with holding his services. -

Todd Kurtz. Has put over three points on his starting average (9.32) and is number 1 of the hornets team at the age 17. Not bad for a rider in his first season in the UK.
-
Here's my attempt - 1 rider over 25 years of age - 1 D/U Rider allowed in each team - 6 riders between the ages of 15 - 24 - 2 riders from the commonwealth - 2 riders at reserve which are under 20 years of age Points Limit of 40.00 If Plymouth go PL and if Bournemouth don't run, hopefully they will and Mildenhall come back then that should 8 or 9 teams from memory so 16/18 fixtures. - Team who tops table wins the league after all the fixtures wins the league - No play offs to decide the league title - Cut off date for league fixtures is the 30th September - League season begins first weekend of April (excluding challenge matches) - Top 4 compete for the National Shield over 2 home and away legs, winners of both semi finals go through to the final and race over 2 legs - Keep the KOC & National Trophy - All teams should compete in the NL Pairs and NL Fours - NLRC should be held at a neutral venue i.e Stoke - 1 Home and away fixture
-
21st, Micky would come in a 5.00 PL average due to being a commonwealth rider, which is a bit ridiculous as all riders from the NL should come into the PL on half their NL average unless they already have a PL average.
-
Bruno, aussies are allowed a maximum of 2 years in the NL. If Micky Dyer goes PL then he can't ride in the NL because his average in the PL would be 5.00. You can only ride in both leagues when at the start of the season your PL average is 4.00 or less or when your PL average becomes the 4.00 or less during the season. I don't think there age restrictions but i'm sure Jayne carry clarify this for us.

Bournemouth have made the Play Offs after getting the point they needed at King's Lynn I imagine that newport will choose Bourenmouth and it will then mean Dudley v Buxton
-
That won't work, because they're two different competitions and if we run how you suggest britmet, a team could experience a fair amount of bad luck in the meeting, which would jeopardise their involvement in the competition. It's better and alot more simple to run them as normal meetings or do double headers on the same night. It's a fairer solution for all concerned.
-
No offence to the KOC, but the Play Offs are more important
-
Yep, now KL v Bournemouth is the last NL match before the cut off date which is midnight tomorrow so the top of the NL Table is; 1, Newport 45 pts 2, Dudley 42 pts 3, Buxton 41 pts 4, Plymouth 27 pts (+42) 5, Bournemouth 27 pts (+33 pts)

Thanks alot, they are very much appreciated

June, are you able to give us any weather updates. Many thanks. -
I agree, this should be the better match of the two. What's the state of the Rye line up? Does anyone know if strudwick going to be fit for saturday? I know Mason may be a doubt as he had to withdraw last night with illness at the IOW. Newport should be at full strength, i'm hoping to make the trip from wales to cheer the lads on, i don't care about the GP in vojens, it will probably be called off anyway due to rain as it always rains in vojens on a race day
-
How many fixtures do dudley have before the cut off? Is it just the match against Plymouth? Personally i think the BSPA is a complete joke, this seriously damages the final league positions of the top 6 the cut off should be end of september with the PO's run within the first 2 weeks of october.
-
At the moment if all 3 teams finished on 45 points, buxton would finish head of newport, becasue they beat them home and away , newport and dudley both beat each other by the same score (59-34 at QM, 58 -33 at MG), but dudley would finish about newport on points scored and currently have a better points difference. Buxton beat dudley at home 47-45 but dudley beat buxton 49 -41 at monmore. Buxton have the better points difference and have scored more points than dudley but dudley at the moment have a match in hand over buxton against plymouth on weds @ PB. So by my reckoning it could finish like this 1. Dudley 2. Buxton 3. Newport I'm not going to the permitations for 4th because it's complicated enough for 1st, 2nd and 3rd !

Dudley Heathens Vs. Newport Hornets 31/08

Brummie Kev, yes newport may have been disapointing last night, however, monmore is not one of the easiest tracks to master in this country, ask freddie lindgren, 5 of the newport riders have never ridden the place before, yes tony atkin could have done better being an ex wolves rider, todd is or no.1 and is only 17 years old and riding monmore for the first time so he didn't do that bad, he still got paid 8 from four rides. Overall, last night was part of a learning curve, besides we have achieved alot this year considering most teams predicted us near the foot of the table and we're in the last 4 of the KOC so it's been as successful season so far -

Paulco, it's been confirmed on the newport fans forum that it's the 4th September with a 7pm start by Main Man. Could be difficult for you that weekend, 3 different matches, 3 different bars. There's only so much one man can take http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=56819
