So like when Coventry wanted to sign Nicholls and you wouldn't let him go unless they bought him, just when you entitled to zilch as well, or did you forget that?
Agreed, Heeps may be a talented rider for his age, but I certainly dont agree with Aljack that he could ' do a Ward ' because I dont think that hes good enough yet. Personally, he may need another year in the National League because at the moment hes beating riders who you would expect him to beat. When he goes to no.1 or the main body of the team then we will be able to see how good he is. But at the moment Ward was a better rider than Heeps when he was 15.
Wasnt the meeting at the IOW called off because of a waterlogged track? Newport the night before the GP was very wet but the riders gave it their all despite the conditions.
Obviously, but if Dudley were concerned about the condition of the track, why didnt they ask for a track inspection before the start of the meeting to iron out any underlying issues they had towards their riders safety?
Well, rider safety is a perplex issue, a referee may deem a track to be ok after for example,extensive track work. However, referees could say a track is safe, when like tonight it proves that it may not be, but the riders, whether they agree with the referee or not, have just got to get on with it.
Depends, a fair track and good quality riders can mean that passing could be at a premium. On the other hand, if the meeting is full of gating specialists then you won't get much passing either.
Do Todd and Jay get reductions because of patriality? If they do get a reduction it could be something like this:
Jay Herne 9.91
Todd Kurtz 8.78
James White Williams 4.62
Tom Young 4.49
Tot = 27.80
so a 6 pointer, perhaps a untried aussie, and theres a few aussies who have patriality and 2x 3 point reserves.
Well, there will be no Kevin Doolan at King's Lynn next year because according to the Daily Mirror, Doolan has been transfer listed after he and club failed to agree a deal for next year.
