  1. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4gshA-bYRE4 Heat 14 from last night
  2. How can he drop to a 3 if assessed riders can't drop below their starting figure?
  3. So it'll be like this? : @ Edinburgh: 1. Guest, 2. Guest or R/R, 3. Guest or R/R, 4. Paul, 5. Rohan, 6. Brad, 7. Guest @ Berwick: 1. Josh , 2. Guest or R/R, 3. Guest or R/R, 4. Paul, 5. Rohan, 6. Brad, 7. Bewley @ Glasgow: 1. Josh , 2. R/R, 3. Charlie, 4. Paul, 5. Rohan, 6. Brad, 7. Bewley
  4. The northern tour would've been tough with a full team but going depleted means that getting anything from next weekend will prove difficult. Hopefully, Charlie will be back for Berwick and Jake is back for the meeting at Glasgow
  5. Jake is riding in the u21 world team cup final next weekend, so we will be without him and Wrighty at Edinburgh and Berwick (possibly). It would be good if we could get Palovaara at Edinburgh for Jake and run R/R for Charlie.
  6. https://www.facebook.com/richard.hayes2992/videos/pcb.1093726427331544/1093713363999517/?type=3&theater Here's a video of the first running of Heat 14 last night. Scunny boy just rides straight into the side of BWD. How more blatant can it be and the ref still gets its wrong! Really think Debbie and Garry should get the ref's box sponsored by Optrex or Specsavers just for the irony because the refereeing didn't help the meeting last night.
  7. I'd be happy with a point. Anything more is a bonus as the meeting hinges on how well Brad and Jake take to Sheffield as first time visitors and who we have at no.7 in place of Zach.
  8. Never seen anyone ride the inside line as well as him around Somerset. We're lucky we've got a pretty good team to watch week in, week out. You can't say we haven't been entertained by this side at the OTA this year, some of the racing has been top class.
  9. Decent meeting with a few good races thrown in too. Good to Brad get double figures + a sweet move to round the rest of the riders in heat 12, looked pretty pumped with it at the end of the race. Can't say much about the main body of the side who did their jobs, with wrighty a bit down on power by the looks of it. Shuttleworth was busting a gut to be fair to him, put more effort in than Holub.
  10. We've been fortunate that BWD and Allen have turned out to be steals. Both are well on the way to adding at least 1 and 2 pts to their averages by the end of the year. Maybe even this month, seen as we have 11 fixtures!
  11. Brad was trying out a new set of clutch plates last night but didn't get him out of the starts as much as he would've liked
  12. Don't tell others that mind, he's a jumped up kiwi after all One of the best riders you could meet, down to earth kid
  13. Didn't matter that the white line on the track for Brad's gate wasn't in line with the vertical piece of tape on the starting tapes, making his gate smaller than the other three!
  14. Some brilliant racing tonight with heats 10, 11, 12 and 15 being standouts. Good to see Jake go through unbeaten to get his first max. Hard luck on Zach being against one of the hardest pairings (on paper) at 6 and 7 but he was on the pace. BWD seemed to suffering with bike problems but still got his average riding at no.2 so all in all, a good night for the Rebels.
  15. Would prefer facing Garry May, at least he has been beaten this season
  16. Should be able to cover Jake well enough with Paul, Brad and the other reserve (whoever that might be). Somerset by at least 12.
  17. Perhaps sticking him at no.2 would help for a while?
  18. To be fair to him, he wasn't that bad around Plymouth for Somerset over the last 2 seasons. Hasn't done too bad tonight either
  19. Could well be, but that depends on which Barker turns up. You know what you're going to get from Kurtz/Holder/Newman around Somerset so they'll keep it interesting. I'll stick my neck out at 54-38 to the Rebels.
  20. Aye, to be fair to him. Doesn't give in. Got to hand it to Jake though, averaging 6.5 away from home on tracks he hasn't seen before so we've hit the jackpot compared to other riders who've come over this year.
  21. We've been lucky that Brad + Jake have settled in quickly and exceeded expectations (riding above their assessed averages), whilst Zach is mixing it and popping up with some very good rides in recent matches (beating Covatti and winning heat 2 last night). Stand out has to be Wilson-Dean though, who has been nothing but short of sensational around the OTA so far.
  22. It's a pleasure to watch them ride every week isn't it?
  23. Compared to Darcy Ward who was £26,000? Is Cook really worth almost £10-20k more?
