  1. It was a nice and sunny day at Riska, and the turnout wasn't too bad either. The heats where the riders were equal were good fun to watch, but the gap between riders is far to big. The likes of Raugstad, Sola, Gunnestad and Bjerk are in a class of their own, and so the final results did't come as a surprise;). It was an enjoyable afternoon, and I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'm an optimist, and hope Norwegian speedway is slowly but surely regaining ground. Gratulations to the medalists, and better luck next year to the rest.

  3. If SGP wants SKY to keep showing the meetings... I wished for it, and it came true: RUNE HOLTA No.1!
  4. Yes. Looking forward to this one, holding my fingers crossed for Holta victory. 4 riders have this as home circuit riding in Sweden, Sayfudinov is back, hopefully Nicki (he's a hot-head, and can provide some great entertainment off track aswell ), and Holta is having the season of his lifetime, in Dackarna especially. Here's to good racing and great fun.
  5. He probably will. Maybe the officials wanted a new young sensation in Tai Woffinden, but I think he'll need a year or two to settle in GP. He has got talent, that's for sure. I feel Sayfudinof is a sometimes dirty kamikaze rider, but he'll offer new exitement into the mix.
  6. It's a long way up to top eight, he'll have to fight like hell to get there.
  7. Stupid. If one emigrates to another country, one becomes a citizen of that country. He can't be called back to Norway on a few occasions just for being born here. Poland did not import Holta for the event, and when should it be decided? At 3? 16? 18th birthday? "Sorry, no turning back. Norwegian forever, moahahahahaha..." Take a look around and see if there are any other sports that use people born in other countries than they represent. However, thought the Swedes would have taken silver, but the Danes surprised. Wish I could have seen the race, but no such luck. Looking forward to Målilla, and I hope Holta will take the victory. I am Norwegian, but support Holta both on the track, and in his decicion to emigrate to a more speedway friendly nation. The Poles would have been stupid not to use a Polish citizen of his caliber.
  8. I still think the Poles are gonna win, followed by Sweden, Denmark and Britain. Last night wasn't even a preview to a whole race.
  9. I think the outcome will be: Poland Sweden Denmark Great Britain I believe the Poles are too strong this year, and the Brits too inconsitent. Lindbäck is back in the game with a vengeance, and I doubt he'll be touching tapes this time around But I seriously hope the meeting will be a blast, where nothing is decided until the final lap.
  10. Can't really decide how I think the outcome will be between Sweden, Denmark and Australia. No offence to the Russians, but I don't think they'll even have a fair shot at second spot. But only two can make it through, and I've bought the race on Server Corporation, since I don't have the proper channels on tv. It's gonna be a helluva race, and it's only 20 minutes away
  11. Furiously content.

  12. Rock'n'roller and speedway fan from Sandnes, Norway.

  13. The Poles have struck gold this year, and have an advantage over the other countries: No injuries. As far as Holta goes, would any of you ride where there's no money or credit to harvest allthough being one of the world's greatest rider? He is top scorer in Sweden and kicks arse in Poland, is number 6 in SGP aswell as scoring great in SWC. He moved to a country where speedway is much, much more appreciated than in Norway, and where it pays. Best of luck to Britain tonight, and wouldn't it be great fun if Finland made it through to the Race-Off?
  14. Here is a link to NMF's results page: Results 2010 This page is also updated regulary, with results from many countries (It's a Swedish page, although you can get the news in English): Aktuell Speedway
