Roguetrader - have you run out of things to say resorting to name calling now... I have a theory on you all Roguetrader, ASV, montie, your all jealous or Rob Godfrey, and as for frostylion your definitly jealous. Fentiger666 i doubt you are a mildenhall fan at all i think you are a sh** stirrer.

Give the poor lad a chance his feet arnt even on the ground yet! Im sure "can he ride/ cant he ride" saga will all be sorted out soon enough, and if he cant im sure he will enjoy visiting our wonderful friendly country full of fantastic speedway clubs and friendly supporters across the length and width of the country. Rogue Trader if you want to give mildenhall your home address im sure they will send you a copy of all his documents for your approval ,

So Kings Lynn have replaced Darren with Kyle Hughes should be interesting on Sunday, really looking forward to another good meeting lets hope its not as close as the last two home meetings and we right royally whip kings lynn.

:: Speedy recovery to both Darren and Lewis, and a decent signing in Kyle and we welcome all Kiings Lyynn fans to MILDENHALL

Montie - theres no such thing as a secret in speedway. Halifax - my info is fact trust me. dont think its so much about number of teams/fixture congestion etc its more about points allowed per team my info is that of the promotors that attended the meeting some wanting even lower points limit to have out and out training teams but the stand alone clubs wanted to be competetive in the league and i think mildenhall were a threat to them. Also im sure thought mildenhall would be desperate enough for speedway they would go to their tracks to watch but i think they have underestimated our passion for Mildenhall Fen Tigers.

you have to ask the question the clubs that voted against Mildenhall Scunthorpe, Kingslynn, Dudley and Rye House do they think in doing so they may gain an extra few supporters from Mildenhall ? or is it they do not want competitive stand alone clubs in the NL ? I can only hope if its the former that any mildenhall fans thinking about where to spend their hard earned cash on speedway they will think twice about where they go and not line the pockets of those who on that dark day in January hammered home the final nail in our coffin. May be the money SMS have got they should put it towards a court action along with peterborough (although rumour has it they are going into national league) and coventry's court action. Theres so much i wish we could do - shout, scream, punch someone lol etc but sadly i realise its futile

Mildenhall - Who Decides Who The New Promoter Is?
fentigers79 replied to FenTiger666's topic in National League Speedway
Well for the past two weeks our speedway star has been days late so please someone post on here as soon as they know anything, thanks. I honestly never thought we would see the day when mildenhall would be up and running again, i for one am eternally grateful to whoever has come in to start mildenhall once again. I dont care about rent, tractors,BSPA,who chooses the promotor etc just happy and who trusts the BSPA to choose someone right and proper to run mildenhall they need only look at recent history... -

Ok as I see it if mr mascall has handed the club back to bspa would it not be them that decided on the purchaser, and any money they got for the club used to settle the outstanding debts, so in theory mr mascall would nor receive anything but also not pay anything, or is that not how it works?

the thing is Gaylestew if you know the truth now is the time to post it on here, in the past in speedway too many things have gone unsaid and hidden from the fans and its about time it stopped, people will say you should spare peoples feelings but the truth cant hurt you if you are in the right. I for one would tell all if i could be sure they were facts and not rumors this is business not personal and people need to remember that.

You feel it's low blow, maybe when your young it may seem like it but when you get older you will understand life is hard and sad and people deal with grief differently, it is not meant to be offensive but I'm just reiterating what mr mascall has said himself about his situation, also if you believe what you yourself have said surely he is too distraught to make rational decisions and therfore a good idea would to let mr Adams take control for the remainder of the season and then see how he feels but sadly I think it's only a money issue and all else is a smoke screen
-
So another meeting cancelled! I now fear the worst, so no one profits, mr mascall receives no money as no sale and mr Coventry receives no rent or bar takings or food takings for the life of me can't see who benefits here. I also fear that if the people in charge think that it will only be closed for the rest of this season they are deluded, fans will go elsewhere and may not come back and as for supporting mr Coventry with his noise problem there will be NO letter from me. And finally however very sad it is to lose a loved one mr mascall states he brought mildenhall for Jean, how would she be feeling now mr mascall.

Thanks for the info Jayne makes things clearer

I fully understand your position and you are only protecting your son, but as you say why was he not paid from the previous gate fees? maybe someone could explain to a supporter how it works ive heard from other promotors that in the past home and away riders are paid by the home club the agreed set minimum for the level (premier league/national league) and that the away promotion then top up their riders agreed wages and so on. Is this correct? or do home pay home and visiting teams pay their own riders its all very confusing.

Just thought i would start a new thread to see who's as concerned as me about the future of our club, is no news good news ? or should we keep the story in the spot light ? Has anyone any more info apart from what we know at the moment Mr Coventry and Mr Mascall are in discussion via Mr Morrish, money is the key it would seem, is Ray wanting an unrealist amount? How long do the riders wait for their wages? who pays them? outgoing or incoming owner? Just a few thoughts (cant say what i really want to)!!!!
