Matt looks game for a laugh. Let's see if he'll take up the challenge and sing this on the mic at the next home meeting parade - to 'show his appreciation' for NKI !!! -

Enjoyed that. Reminded me of Premier League days - electrical failure included. All that was missing was the Muppet song. -
Kings Lynn £16 to watch a good team on a good track - feel very lucky tbh.

From what I saw watching it live from the royal box I was surprised Garrity lost control, as Kerr looked like he had gone clear. -
How sour those grapes must be.

Another happy away day. We'll done Rory Schlein.

Agree with all that except the last point having already made the trip down to watch this. Imagine how good darcy could have been by now riding on the Norfolk arena track each week developing his riding ability rather than making the best of the poor surface at poole

Lakeside V Kings Lynn 19 May El A Sky Match

Agree 100% but Robert more than made up for this in later rides so time to move on and let the lad forget about it -

being on the exit of the second bend it was plain to see it was one of the pit crew waving and shouting at him and pointing, and Robert responded only after the message had sunk in. Otherwise he was ready to go to the pits. As a stars fan I thought it was a fair call. Though bit later it was said the exclusion was due to Robert having a tyre on the outside of the track, so got a bit murky then as to which offence he was excluded for. -

For away fans the tactical ride gives some assurance that their team can make a meeting competitive enough to warrant spending £17 plus travel to attend. Tonight it kept the meeting close and exciting. For home fans it's always unwelcome, but is a fair counter balance to home track advantage. Where it's unfair in my opinion is where the home team gets to use it. -

. It was the mechanic sprinting down the Tarmac waving his arms and pointing towards the finishing line that was the subtle hint for Robert to head that way. -

Went more in hope than expectation. What a win. So proud of the Stars. I recall Jon cook laughing down the mic a couple of years ago when lakeside put 60 plus on the board. Nice to hear mr Chuckles eating humble pie tonight for once after being beat so often down here. Credit to him he was a very gracious loser. Also the hammer fans next to me agreed 100% with the awarded race decision. Fair fans and great meeting. The hotel bar Stella tastes very sweet. Bring on the pirates ! -

No need for it either as no way were Leicester going to get a 5-1 with nki way out in front and mads way back in 4th. Senseless -

Well done boys great second half again. Some brave riding to take all the points. Great entertainment at the Norfolk arena tonight. -
My fear is that we return to the days of 60-30 home wins which were the norm in the PL - with very few PL away riders prepared to attack the NA track. By the interval it was already 3 points in the bag. Me and my boy took to going to away meetings to see competitive racing, and in the last PL season we were off watching the Panthers - and realised what good standard racing was. I know we have been spoiled with the last few years in the PL with the strong teams Buster / Rob have put out - but if there is one bg league - and we are half-way up it - will the PL be that appealing - especially if the top riders give it a miss. My other fear is that Buster seemed to regain his passion when we were back in the EL - I think our club would not be the same without the energy the Chapmans put behind it. Stadium, track, manager, team - all top quality at the moment - you don't know what you've got until its gone as the song goes.

I think his/her posts add a bit of entertainment value - bit like watching a 3 year old paint - they can see what's in the picture they have painted, but to grown-ups it all a bit of a mess. Or is that taking the Picasso.
