A really enjoyable meeting with some excellent speedway from both teams on a well prepared racers track. The only downside was that we didn't get anything from it after getting close a couple of times.

First of all congratulations to Somerset, they fought hard for every point and deserve their place in the cup final. However I hope I never again have to read supporters from other teams calling Newcastle fans for cheering when a rider falls after witnessing the promotion, riders and pit crew jumping up and down and cheering when Stuart Robson fell in heat 15 (this could be excused at heat of the moment stuff at a pinch), but then in the re run when it was mathematically impossible for Newcastle to win, they cheered even more when Ludvig Lindgren fell. I repeat, that was the promotion, riders and pit crew jumping up and down and cheering when a rider fell - so leave us fans alone in future please.
