So can you offer a sensible solution? -
Thy like a balloon last I heard but he is consummate professional I'm sure he will be there tomorrow.

Good to see Stoke win !!!!!! There had to be a turn in fortunes eventually. -
Edinburgh V Rye House (pl) 23/8/13 @ 7.30pm

Yes Ben damaged his shoulder in an accident at the IOW and could be out for a few weeks. -

Not a fully fit Perry if you look at his scores before he got injured. What is stranger is Rose from another contendingg team trying to take points off the IOW and therefore possibly helping KL go through. As with the Boxall situation Kent aren't in the running. -
Well their season didn't seem to improve with his departure.......Our gain!!!!!!! As always on here you don't get a scientific sample of views.

Iow Wightlink Islanders V Buxton Hitmen 20/8
TMW replied to Great Central's topic in National League Speedway
Buxton.....Sean Phillips guests for Tom Woolley who has picked up a shoulder injury during flat track competition. -
If it's anything like Leicester then it is subject to noise restriction as they have had to turn it down to.

Press release on the BSPA website. Does Ben Reade have a TM managers license? But over the top?
-
Wow Len Silver managed the Potters as Malcolm Vasey broke down en route and it has to be said he did a fair job.

But don't let that get in the way of good old wholesome speculation. Far more fun !!!!!!!!! :-) -
Nl Fours 18//8
TMW replied to heathhen1's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Fair enough I was of the understanding that the BSPA ran the meeting and pocketed the admission and the program paying a rnt to the promoter and obviously any beverage and food sales from a large crowd turning out. It is sad to see some of the comments from the Stoke supporters as I love to go to Stoke you can talk to riders and park up on the bends 3/4 and have a brilliant view of the track but i'm not over keen to walk all the way round to the bar now the pit entrance has been closed off. It could be made so much better. Sometimes I wonder what promotions are thinking by not getting their regular supporters to help them promote the set up. -

I was under the impression the powers that be ran the meeting and it was only Stoke supplying the venue. If Stoke don't have a say then should they be blamed?. admittedly the track is the Stoke promotion responsibility but the rest is the BSPA I would have thought. You would have thought the Ref would known a basic rule like can a team line up be changed? -
Coventry Storm V Kings Lynn - Friday 16th August
TMW replied to NeilWatson's topic in National League Speedway
He only does it when riding I think it's like a twitch. I wonder if his helmet causes it. He doesn't't do it when he doesn't't have his helmet on -

They certainly gave it a good go though and a fight is all you want to see. Joe's win in ht 1 was probably the boost they all needed. Having to put out a T/R against Lambert in ht 12 was unlucky. If you ask me Knuckey is struggling with confidence, lets hope he gets it back and Shanes didn't seem his usual self. best of luck to Like Crang for a speedway recovery. -

TMW replied to a topic in National League Speedway
Yes. I was there and I was pleased to see that. Ollie could have been a bit of a spoiler in ht 15 but i'm afraid experience won on the day and Lambert got through. Good to see Lambert being challenged rather than just going through the card no one really wants to see that. -

Sorry but I'm back on it!!! Don't you lot worry about the young lads riding against the big boys. Lambert's move on Greenwood in Ht 15 tonight was right out of Nicki Pederson's top draw and Greenwood to his credit stayed on!!!! -

Coventry are the next track in for a treat tonight shame they don't seem to have the fire power like IOW (Ellis) Buxton(Wright) and Kent (Boxall) have at the top to match him. I don't think Jacobs is quite there but I hope I'm proved wrong. -

Probably badly worded. I agreed with your's and Gustix reason for opposing younger lads riding not the concept of younger lads riding. in an "it's your opinion and you are entitled to it" way. My apologies for the misunderstanding -

and....I fully agree but don't moan when they aren't available for competition in this when carrying out duties on the continent which is what I was saying in the first place. It was P1928 who raised the topic of his Country not me in an almost emotional blackmail way. Well as he himself insinuated in the SS at the moment his country is Germany. -

I'm surprised at that Whippy as David mason is supposed to be the glue and he seems to take his role quite seriously. -

Obviously not, as Lambert is allowed to race in Germany. Lambert has been riding against senior riders and he is in 1 piece. Waco intimated it at the start of the season when everyone expected Lambert to sign for Kent, if you remember. Hence the last minute inclusion of Woods in the side and that his availability would have been the stumbling block. I enjoy watching him and if I'm honest I don't even think of his age. Anyway lets just enjoy the times he can ride I'm sure if he feels it will help him he will ride on the NLRC. I don't know if you have seen this thread http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=71376&st=0 -

Apart from anything it isn't out of context as you, and others, seem to struggle with the concept that his' loyalty is with his German Club'. Don't be ridiculous no I don't think they are having a go a Robert. I'm more than happy for them to ride professionally at 15 but then don't moan when they go off to other countries. How do you explain the fact that Aussies(to a lesser extent), Poles, Germans, Danes and Swedes arrive on our shores ready to race 500 cc bikes in the EL. People seem to think they are an overnight sensation wel NEWS FLASH!!!! They are not they are allowed to race younger. Stephan Nielsen raced in Denmark now Lambert is racing in Germany. I'm more than happy for them to start at 15 but don't moan when our 15/16 years olds are just about ready for the NL. What is Reece Downers, Kyle Bickley and Lewis Whitmore, to name a few, going to do? sit around waiting? if I was them I get off to the continent !!!!!! and another loss to this country. No much better to keep things as they are He could probably be riding for Kent now if it hadn't been for his German commitments. You could have had Boxall and Lambert It sounds to me like this country has let you down as well. -

The reason why Lambert is riding in Germany is because his COUNTRY as you call it let him down so Robert owes them nothing and stil haven't learned from it.
