I'm not one to criticise riders but he isn't doing too well on away tracks either. I've got no issue with riders having bad spells and coming last just so long as it is Just a bad spell. Danny seems to have a lot of taps exclusions and pulling up issues which makes me wonder. He just doesn't look happy but, time will tell !
-
Chris is fine this morning a little bettered after his smash last night which caused him to have to withdraw from the meeting. Thanks all for asking
-
I'm sure that is what King is doing. I think he wants out riding poorly drops his average and hopefully gets him kicked off the team with a more attractive average. Win, win for King.
-
EEF was alluding to the track all season. I was just showing the although conditions were 'tricky' on Thursday the racing thus far has been fine
-
Did you go to the 'featured video' section, bottom left?
-
There is a video on here Hottest Hear https://www.speedwayportal.com/wight-warriors-home You can see for yourself. Although it had been a scorching hot day with a drying wind so the track was dusty
-
Yes. Well Done to them all. It's the NL way
-
TBH on previous trips he would have been lucky to do that !! For some reason Brum and Wolves have never been a happy hunting ground
-
For a NL 'challenge' fixture as a '2nd' Team. The attendance was quite good, believe me. such as Kings Lynn, Coventry and BV. I'm not sure Leicester are responsible for the fixture list ?? Unless they gave these dates as unavailable and I doubt that but I'm prepared to be stand corrected. As you know from Cov. Attendances are quite small for 2nd teams. The crowd was probably increased because it was a Sat night and Cradley is a kind of Derby and their fans travel. I'd say 300 is a very conservative estimate I would have said more like 500
-
The attendance was quite good swelled by the Cradley fans You missed a treat http://www.leicesterlions.co/_mobile/news.php?extend.30979.1

I'll pop this on here as Leicester supporters don't seem to frequent this section too much. http://www.leicesterlions.co/_mobile/news.php?extend.30975.1 Josh Bates will captain Leicester and he will be partnered by locally based Chris Widman who rides for the Isle of Wight. Other Leicester connections include Richard Hall who was the first captain in the new era of the Lions and locally born Luke Woodhull who now rides for the Belle Vue Colts. Meanwhile Cradley have Max Clegg and Tom Perry who rode for the Lions in their first year in the Elite League. On top of that Danny Ayres will be racing against Leicester and it will be the first opportunity for Lions fans to watch him after he delivered a career best performance for the club on Monday at Rye House. Teams Leicester: 1, Josh Bates, 2. Chris Widman, 3. Richard Hall, 4. Tom Woolley, 5. Matt Williamson, 6. Kyle Bickley and 7. Luke Woodhull. Cradley Heath: 1. Max Clegg, 2. Conor Dwyer, 3. Tom Perry, 4. Dan Greenwood, 5. Danny Ayres, 6. Ryan Burton and 7. Joe Lawlor.

That's always assuming he wants to stay
-
Are these pages moderated anymore ??
-
Look on the brightside. He may not get through. Lol !!
-
Wrong ...... and I doubt Mr Darcy would agree with you. Do you have official links to the club? I hope not. As far as I'm concerned negative or not every supporter lost is sad. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and everyone pays their money and that entitles them to express it. I'm not sure your comment fits with Leicester's New Dawn.
-
I'd say they can't used a guest because he hasn't ridden but, correct me if I'm wrong. Why would he be missing all season? He'll have to ride one meeting to give them the facility That sounded a little sceptical
-
TBH like for like I'm not sure you are right about the IOW maybe the Res situation if Mullins is not fit maybe a bit tricky but hopefully some good guests to make it competitive but time will tell

I have one but it is filled in if you want it PM me your address
-
And Lee is always excellent out front but struggles when he gets into traffic so that makes up for his issues but he probably blamed the track
-
It's easy to criticise when you have a brand spanking new stadium built for you. I enjoyed my visits to Kirku Lane as I very much enjoy my trips to Loomer Rd. I don't need sparkling facilities to enjoy myself. I was at the NSS on Friday following Leicester and I found it quite impersonal but difference of opinion. Is what makes the world go round. As far as I can see you have to be quite a technical rider to ride stoke and the NSS is just a flat out track. Again it makes Speedway what it is. Horses for courses. I enjoyed last night

http://www.wightwarriors.co/blog/278-speedway-bryn-a-night-of-celebration speedway Bryn A Night Of Celebration This Thursday the speedway fraternity will come together at The Andrew Younie Smallbrook Stadium to celebrate the life of the late Bryn Williams, the Warriors former stadium announcer and press officer who sadly passed away at the end of last year. ADMISSION TO THIS MEETING IS COMPLETELY FREE thanks to generous local and national sponsorship. Any surplus funds will be donated to the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund Charity. The main event will see the Wightlink Warriors take on the nomadic Weymouth Wildcats in a fifteen heat challenge fixture which will be supported by demonstration races by The Men In Black on their vintage bikes. There will also be flying lap record attempts and lots of off track activities for the whole family. Co-Promoter Barry Bishop said: Bryn was a speedway legend having held nearly ever post imaginable at one time or another. I felt that we must pay tribute to him and recognise the huge amount of time he devoted to the sport, not only here on the Island , but at other tracks where he had an involvement. It is an honour and privilege to be able to stage this event and in doing so I am especially delighted to be able to welcome Bryns daughter Carys and her husband as our Guests of Honour. Making this a free event will, I hope, draw many new faces to Smallbrook. The Warriors are big on community, inclusiveness and fun and I will be going out of my way to ensure that everyone has a great time and will want to return. With the Warriors having had a week to recover from the troubles of the Good Friday meeting at Plymouth, the teams are expected to line up as follows: Warriors: Ben Wilson, Ben Hopwood , James Cockle, Chris Widman, Nathan Greaves, Rik Mullins, Jamie Sealey. Wildcats: Matt Williamson, Kelsey Dugard, Rob Shuttleworth, Mattie Bates, Georgie Wood, Kyle Bickley, Kenny Bowdry Gates open at 17.30pm with the rider parade at 18.45pm and the first race at 19.00pm.

If s seasoned professional such as King is struggling then then what must it be like for Ayres. Let's not make the No.7 the whipping boy again to make excuses for the failings higher up the Team
