Some people even think it has an exchange rate.

It has always been the case between the stand alones and 2nd teams. The 2nd teams are running a competitive 1st team. I have seen the support at Scunny for NL I have also seen the support that leave before the 2nd meeting during double headers. The only way round it would be to stop stand alone clubs entering the NL.

I'm not a Cradley supporter. Just giving a view of why a rider may have their head turned. I'm sure the money is good and for what it's worth I think Williamson has been ill advised. If Cradley supporters are happy for the constant thrashings at home then should they be deprived? the rest of the league can aim for 2nd place and have a lot more fun doing it.

Sorry I'm not used to people agreeing with me it's a new departure :-)
-
What is your point? I said that he couldn't apply for a new one until he had a job. That's standard you can't apply for a visa until you have a job.
-
It's all very sad if you ask me. If they hadn't announced it till now the supporters of both clubs would have had their promoters in stocks by now you need to announce who your number 1 is going to be alternatively not offer him a job at all and the BSPA's rules don't seem to be all that helpful. Maybe promoters will be more diligent next year. The rules on Visas have just recently change and we appear to have been caught out. Having said that. I am going to wait for the official line rather than 'whispers'

Don't have places? Too good to be on the reserve draft? Did I say there was anything wrong with being too good for the NL? No I don't believe I did. I was alluding to their earning potential in PL only. Which at the mo is all thty have unless they have European commitments. Oh we are going to have such fun this season
-
Incorrect he would need a job before he could apply for a Visa BSPA need to revisit their procedures
-
I'm a glass half fall kind of person so I'd like to think not
-
The draft is a double edged sword. How are these lads supposed to earn when they are too good for NL and now it seems too good for the EL.

I'd say it's not just about the money at Cradley it's also about the staggering support home and away. who wouldn't want to win away in front if a big away crowd and the potential for sponsorship is there to. Who wouldn't want to ride under those terms? At the end of the day the promotion meeting supporters needs and a bit more points money is a bonus and let's face it banter or not all promoters look forward to Cradley rolling into town. I've never been to Mildenhall v Dudley meeting but I imagine the roof is raised by some feet at those fixtures :-)

It just about sums up our luck really :-(

I've asked the question for you by pm on FB and the site is having some technical problems which they are working to sort out. They hope to have it up and running soon.

I have to say on this news I am surprised Williamson Phillips and Shuttleworth have signed for other clubs as Scunny regulars but maybe they mean even more 'rookie' than them. It will be interesting to see the team build.

Republic of South Africa.

I think if you read the press release it wont be, for now. Lets hope riders stick with it and don't dissppear down the money route, like previous seasons. The 15 and 16 year olds seem to have a problem sticking with scunny, as opposed to the older Moto X converts, and their idea of a 2 year plan. Probably with a nod from Poole it may give them that incentive. Lets hope the venture works. How do you know he didn't?
-
Lets hope he don't get a visa then. The moaning would be unbearable specially if we lose when he is missing
-
At a guess one of them would be Thurs at Swindon :-)
-
We wouldn't be able to sign him until Swindon have released him anyway so it's all academic. I must admit I wouldn't want a rider who can just spit his dummy out and walk away with no thought for the people who have supported him management and fans.
-
I think it's just coincidence. It was stated in the SS last week that the delay was due to Doyle's visa woes which seems sensible to me. Although most people think it's a formality obviously until he has the visa in his hand then you don't hedge your bets.
-
Kyle Howarth used to be awesome round BV when more experienced riders struggled but I haven't seen him recently .... I'm surprised BV hasn't been mentioned.
-
How have they upset Swindon? He's not dumped Swindon for Leicester but Sheffield and it's only the supporters wishful thinking who has his named linked him with Leicester. As for a rider being a free enterty how come NM can't just walk away from Swindon and straight into Sheffield
-
It's was either you or Volty you both morph into 1 these days. Banging on about ht 15 rider pick last season
-
It's a risk you take. The pendulum swings both ways best of luck to the lad. I'm sure Buxton will survive without him
