You could be right but the people I know have never been so the standard of racing is inconsecuential just not interested anymore
-
What I am saying is mick that those that are happy don't post they find the forum a joke. We are never going to keep crowds of 2000 apart from the novelty factor which last night was one of them the sport just aint that popular. How many times do you here Speedway? I used to go to that but they wouldn't go now

Similar to my visits to Cov. I have no axe to grind as I wasn't a fan back in 84 but I do know how you feel about BP as I feel the same at Cov. There are places you warm to and places you don't. I'd say that some people left thinking it would be a lengthy delay as did I HT 15 caught me in the loo queue but it was fairly speedy as there was a 2nd ambulance which I didn't realise. In the PL we are used to waiting for county ambulances it's obviously different in the EL so that's a plus
-
The view is biased as most of those that are happy have given up posting. Although I know they all atill read. On a normal night we would get 850 - 1000 and there are 4 on here claiming to speak for everyone. Hardly scientific

All the best to the Lion Cubs hope they put on a good show next Sunday
-
Thank you for your honesty Thart's why our views differ we have a different opnion on what is classed as entertainment both the Woofy crashes were him trying to pass and Lions trying to block him. I don't want to see any passing if it means visitors passimg Lions. I was a bit dubious about joining the EL but I have to say I am warming to it

You appear to have forgotten Harris in ht 15 can we have your view on that one. Ht 13 was a close race which my apologies if not I thought was the point. Thorrsell, Wells and Ljung against the reserves were always going to be strung out. I'd have been worried if they were closer. I have said in a previous post about Stead. He maybe a racer but he wasn't even close to pass but I like hom so I don't care he could ride round on his own and I would be entertained. Hougaard is certainly giving us spme good meetings. Which wasn't going to happen according to some because it wasn't 'his kind of track'
-
Not moaning. When I say he's a worry I mean it's not nice to see a rider who I like struggle.
-
Stead is a worry. He doesn't seem himself. Hopefully a couple of good PL mestings under hos belt should be the tonic
-
Not sure I'm overly comfortable with the Govier situation. Too much pressure in my humble opnion, but these lads need to take the chances when they come along.
-
if anyone turns up tonight they will be very lonely. The fixture is tomorrow
-
Since when has Harris been able to gate? This is a new development
-
There is anothet thread 'Draft rider' where this is discussed and the PL promoters didn't want any part on it and then of course there were the protected assets. So if the scheme is to continue then teams will have to build up a young asset base. It maybe a dud season but the lpng term is the name game

I've looked for a topic on this and can't see one. Iit will be interesting to see how the team perform with Doyle. think Clegg and Perry maybe a match for Morris but Joe has had a meeting at BP and will be high on confidence.
-
HA HA yes I'm having to hold mu sides to stop them from splitting
-
Yes lets hope so. I just think that like Sheffield the track is too fast.
-
When I went for the 4's all I saw was riders being carted off to hospital in a sort of ambulance shuttle service where the Newcastle supporters had to leave mid meeting because their driver was running out of driving hours.......I can't wait !!!!!

You're spot on. The Panthers pair had aleeady lost a meeting infront of a home crowd and had nothing to lose as Panthers were the percieved underdogs and weren't expected to win. The Lions pair on the other hand had a massive amount on them. Clegg will do well at BV Wolves and poss Lakeside and Perry is already showing flare for the BP track -

I hope Perry doesn't learn to gate because he will be a treat to watch. Clegg will probably do better away -

and what makes the sport a little silly is the individual 'interpretation' of the rules by the teams maybe follow the rules on face value and not try to find the hidden meanings to get that edge. -

As peace and harmony is too far fetched i'll go with no rule bending as the promoters are worse than the riders for trying to get one over on each other
