  1. I'm not sure they want to as RR gives opportunity for more heats for existing riders which means more racing and more earning potential.
  2. That sounds like a plan . That happens in the NL but is the PL a step up too far?.
  3. Do none of you read the speedway star ? Wright was interviewed and said he wouldn't be signing for a PL club this year as he wouldn't be able to give 100%. He would do some guest bookings and then he would re look at it next year.
  4. This argument comes up all the time. It's good for these lads to be in this league Wright, Blackbird, Boxall otherwise when they do get to the next league it's a too bigger step the lads know what they are aiming for and they are all there to be beaten. If they can't beat the likes of them in this league then they are going to find the PL tough.
  5. Point taken and accepted. It just seems if riders particularly the brit ones have 1 too many injuries and should be thrown on the scrap heap and it quite sad really.
  6. No good luck Joe..No.all the best Joe....... Could replacements not wait till tomorrow. BTW MPT was dropped by Scunny because he was under performing....Just saying like.
  7. I actually agree with you.Although a double up role is a good idea in principle. It may have been a better option to declare, run and develop a no.8 rather than trying to pit riders against each other, to fight for a place, to try and boost their performance....but I'm sure it's a lesson learned
  8. Thanks for the weather update. Sounds good down there.
  9. Now that would be worth the trip especially if it's hot and he has to strip to the waist between heats
  10. Kerr's ave is too high to cover for Edberg? http://www.speedwaygb.co/issues13/pl13_dec_29.pdf
  11. I forgot that Lasse was missing. What about Stuart Robson he can jump a few starts for us for a change
  12. If you look on the BSPA website, all will be revealed.
  13. I believe Edberg is back next week. Sarjeant has probably got as much chance as anyone to score at RH as he has ridden the track to death It doesn't harm to keep a little bit of optimism in the reserve tank and Redcar will depend on Wilkinson, I would say
  14. Morley was booked for Kerr with R/R for Lambert but for some reason that was against the rules and the line up was changed or so the updates site said. I suppose on reflection a better guest for NO.1 may have been booked had it not been for this anomaly
  15. C'mon the Bears show those Rebels what you are made of :-)
  16. They already are on his score guesting for Sheffield at BP on Sun but then to be fair he was riding at NO.6 I presume he will be riding at NO.7 on Sat.
  17. I'm not sure changes at this stage are the answer. I'm told Rob knows where his problem is he isn't gating. That doesn't smack of arrogance to me. The team have been short of Kake's leadership really since before the 4's. I do hope Doolan takes him under his wing. It's his iob as team Capt. On Sarj's performance on Sun no disrespect to him but would he be better? at this stage?. Don't know about Rose as i've not seen him ride the track. He seems to me to be a bit more of a fast track specialist as when he went to RH he went home in an in an ambulance. He certainly could be a possibility for Sheffield though
  18. That's rich you bunch of kids telling Cook and Barker to grow up
  19. I'd say cheaper meetings needs planning in advance as that isn't going to improve the season ticket argument if you suddenly throw a cheaper meeting in. It's needs planning at the beginning of the season and price the season tickets accordingly but it is certainly a consideration I would say.for next season
  20. Well done to Kent their first league win of the new era.!!!!!!! Well done to all concerned and well done to Charlotte and Lauren for their tweets. They do a grand job each week and never get a mention
  21. Although I haven't spoken to Rob since riding for Leicester. He has never come across to me as arrogant or above himself he is kept well grounded by his dad Darrell and he certainly doesn't have a bells and whistles set up very much a 1 man band. Maybe it is just his accent that implies arrogance as a lot of the Aussies can come across like that. Once you get into that rut I suppose.it's difficult to break. Rob just needs to break it and he will be there but these days it's up to reserves to win meetings which is not what they are intended for. All to often they expecting to cover for under performing main body riders covering for 7 & 8 point riders holding a 3 or 4 point average the ones that do are on false averages. Rob is also coming back from an injury that he got the back end of last season like Simon Nielson like Steve Worrall and the list goes on.
  22. Good to read another perspective. The injury to Edberg can't be helped but because he is relatively low averaged so good guests are probably limited. which puts a lot of pressure on Brandford just as he is finding his confidence.
