He could also do a good job at Glasgow. Certainly better than the highly overated Kasper Lykke
-
Didn't see that
-
Maybe JJ and JB are guesting in theory for Perry till declaration sorted. The press release does say subject to BSPA approval so not fully declared yet
-
Tbh they normally do
-
JJ is guesting for Bates as he is riding for Shefffield.....
-
It's official now. Josh Bates is to replace him.
-
I've always said I can't understand why Newman is on the list and Birks isn't. He would be in the vicinity of Worrall though so not much chance of a pick now unless for injury at the higher end. Should have been included at the begining but then after his injury would he have been picked? Hindsight is always helpful. Anyway it's Bates was he your stormtrooper?
-
Well they would be on the list now. Otherwise it's first of July and they have to guest for the 1st month by the looks of it. I've already voiced that opinion further up the thread. If you read. After LionKing's usual woeful offerings on the subject. I'm not that desperate to win just to enjoy myself
-
I find these posts quite tedious actually. Either come out and say it or don't.....So the list is going to be amended mid month to fit this whoever in who is a staggering talent, comes below Perry on the list although they can only guest for the first month and Leicester are going to secure his services. Even Matt Ford would struggle to swing that one.
-
Best of luck with that one !!!!

Tom's fitness was a gamble and if i'm honest I thought it was the right decision for Tom to give Wolves v Lions a miss and ride in the double header at Monmore, on Tuesday, to give him a true reflection of what he could achieve at Swindon on Thursday. It seems to me to be a decision made with the head rather than the heart. I would say that the meeting to come back to for To EL wise would have been Wolves v Lionsfor Tom a place he feels comfortable. I remember a certain Woffy giving Wolves a miss at the end of the season when they could have done with him to safeguard his fitness and to go off and win the world championship. Why should Tom pay for the (in your words) the disloyalty of other riders

Cradley V Scunthorpe National League 3/6/14
TMW replied to Ommer Mon's topic in National League Speedway
I hope the Cradley fans give the Scunny team the respect they deserve. After all, they are only 7 lads trying to make their way in the sport and so early on getting caught up in the 'politics' is not good -
He rode well at Leicester yesterday. Much more controlled and a much more mature rider than last year.
-
You've got some good ideas there. Similarly for injured aswell as the rider has to replaced by same or below but the next one down could be weakish
-
Certainly taking something
-
I'm all for banter but anyone who knows Marc knows he is coming back from a very serious head injury a couple of seasons back. So mock all you want but the lad deserves some respect. I don't know the circumstances of his inclusion in the Lions, as it is probably a little early for him but how is that his fault?.
-
Who do you actually think has the agenda Hooper. Leicester or the BSPA ?
-
There you go unattached !!!!But i'm only guessing don't know for sure
-
I suppose we will have to wait till we see who he is replaced with.
-
Probably because Tom was in the original line up so therefore in a 'declared' way if you will. Leicester probably had to declare 7 riders and replace them to cover unavailabilityas per NL rules. I don't imagine they would have been able to pick and choose for each meeting or it wouldn't have made it fair on the other teams in the Trophy If that's the case then Neale would be guesting for Shanes. I don't think it matters if he is helping out or not. Neale is in another declared line up
-
You can still win a meeting if reserves aren't up to speed. It's not up to reserves to win meetings. It'sup to Heatleaders to actually win heats. Edinburgh made mince meat of Glasgow today with a reserve scoring 2. Yes if you have good reserves it will help but shouldn't be vital
-
Luke Priest and don't say journeyman cos Lee Dicken was hardly inspired. I'd rathet they left it as it was to see how it plays out

Scunthorpe Vs Coventry (nl) - 26/05/14 (follows Pl Koc Match)
TMW replied to lucifer sam's topic in National League Speedway
but you can't gauge 1 team on the whole league. As you say Coventry have an MDL team so it is a little shameful -

I agree shock of shocks I do think a standard has been set and now teams are going up there with a scoreline in mind not to be seen as weaker than others who have been. -
Really felt for Ben who was on course for a win when he packed up becauae when he gets in front he is fast
