  2. Yes the call to arms by certain members on here to boycott the meeting seem to fall on deaf ears :-)
  3. I suppose the question is was the team agreed before Harris got dropped do you want to ring Chapman or Woolley and say' sorry but this other lad has become available so sorry but you are no longer in the team'? but I agree maybe he should form part of a future line up. Leicester could do with riders like Luke.
  4. Maybe i'm not coming through so Let me put it another way...'It's not your problem'. Go don't go. Watch the first 4 hts on bet 365 don't watch the 1st 4 hts on bet365.....but quit spoiling it for the rest of us. His to start his to finish end of chat.......
  5. Proud Potter is normally on the ball with the threads but in his absence I thought I would start one !!!! My prediction is for......Good weather and a great afternoon !!!! Line ups courtesy of the Leicester Lions Website; Stoke: 1. Ben Wilson, 2. Chris Widman, 3. Ben Hopwood, 4. Lee Payne, 5. Jon Armstrong, 6. Rob Shuttleworth and 7. Adam Kirby Leicester: 1. Oliver Greenwood, 2.Dan Greenwood, 3. Max Clegg, 4. Tom Perry, 5. James Sarjeant, 6. Sam Chapman and 7. Tom Woolley
  6. You've got bob hope and with all due respect that's their call not yours
  7. Isn't it obvious. He wanted to make a point as he doesn't want this fixture to go ahead and saying he couldn't get a decent team together supported his view. You know how he likes to drive the agenda.
  8. Don't know but there are a lot of 'last minute' tickets doing the rounds. So, anyone who wasn't going before is now. Less queueing at the burger bar...Happy Days. Always assuming the burger bar have been booked for Kasabian gig
  9. TBF the system is a season old and as many riders who had PL teams such as Wright - Bates - O Greenwood pulled out which meant they had to go further don the pecking order to fill the team spots as the system evolves that should lessen. if you had excluded anyone over 25 that would have been Blackbird out. There is no point in having 1 rider to ride around at the bac all the time they need at least a fighting chance. I think the format is just right. I agree though on the PL idea, the better reserves all have PL spots, aprt from possibly Ben Morley, and that Birks should have been on the draft list like Newman. Birks has no more EL experience than Newman but Newman had Ford batting in his corner always makes a difference.
  10. Kings Lynn are going to Lakeside with 3 guests aswell. Wasn't there a problem with Cov going to Eastbourne with a weak team a couple of weeks ago? The league needs to take a hard look at itself. Fri and Sat nights are just not suited to top end speedway because riders are involved in too many top end championships.
  11. I believe he had the crash whilst riding for Kings Lynn Barracudas 2009 I think he was their no.1
  12. I'll thank you not to call me a pleb. There's only 1 pleb round here and certainly isn't me ......
  13. You have to say it's a shame but it doesn't seem to be a surprise some how
  14. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=76713&page=2&do=findComment&comment=2467283quote name="bw double" post="2467323" timestamp="1402958680"] Cant believe no post for this meeting ,but i dont think the field was strong enough . In past years there has been some very strong pairings put out by teams. But this years field seems to lack big names ,still well done Hitmen on your fourth place. But when is the next meeting at Buxton there is much to long a gap to keep people interested, come on Jayne get some meetings on or nobody will be bothered to come after such a long time between meetings plenty of other thngs to do on a sunday. It's here. These events go in shared http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=76713&page=2&do=findComment&comment=2467283
  15. Wouldn't you say it's more to do with the fact that with postponments the Lions would have have had 1 home meeting in 8 weeks as the next home meet is in July now.
  16. You need to undestand the rules of the forum. If you don't think or post like the forum pro's you are talking rubbish. Quite often in the old format a reserve will get injured in ht 2 and then you will also get some 3 rider races.
  17. I think from the moment he had won the under 21 at Cov and then beat Bjerre at BP in the world under 21 at BP Leicester wanted him but he could only replace Perry. I do hope all these changes work because I for 1 can't stand anymore moaning. Meetings don't seem to get discussed anymore only track, reserves and absent riders
  18. Well done to the Demons after a shaky start to the season. They seem to be getting it together. They certainly made Cradley work for it. Odd decision to put Stoneman and Andrews in ht 15 though
  19. The details are below but if you haven't left yet check out their website since in the Club tab and How to Find Us section they have put a Google earth map marked up with the route. It makes it very clear. Well done to the Plymouth club. FROM SOMERSET, DORSET & BEYOND By Car: Leave A38 Devon Expressway at Marsh Mills. Follow the B3416 (signposted Plympton), then turn left into Coypool Road (signposted Park and Ride) where there are 520 free parking places less than 100 metres from the arena.
  20. But have you had a' freak drying wind' today that has dried the track out?
  21. I hope Lions get a point or 2 just to annoy Jon Cook
