  1. Yes I set up a new thread. Meetings rarely get discussed. Lets hop this one is different although. I don't comment on Lions threads anymore but I'm looking forward to this one. Mainly because I remember the constant moaning about Blackbird when he was a Lion. I think he will come back to haunt us
  2. I expect Blackbird will do well. Not sure about Halsey but saw him at Kings Lynn the other week and the draft has certainly given him a boost. Look forward to seeing Buzz again he is quite a character.
  3. And you were nearly without Lambert. I read on FB he had broken down and wasn't hopeful. So valiant effort by him to get there
  4. Basically you can only build to points limit or like for like. They could replace Luke with a higher averaged rider as they had a couple if points left on the limit. Once you are over the points limit you can only replace with like for like or lower. Hope thathelps.
  5. It said on the updates 'best meeting in Central park history'. Suppose when you have 2 equally matched teams it can be done
  6. True but there was some talk of McBain being back soon and Kirby could really do with keeping up his good form in order to push on.
  7. Well I'm at a loss as to why you can't just stick to Cov and quit jumping on the bandwagon and having a pop at Leicester at every opportunity
  8. We found the falls a bit of a bind but Scunny is a 1 off team tbf
  9. I think you need tp give young Kirby the no.6 place and thrn Ayres and Garrad could share the no.7
  10. I think some Stags are trying to run before they can walk but they put on a good effort
  11. Sorry I didn't realise that you and Stevebrum were such good friends
  12. I only said I hadn't gone away as other posters had alluded to. I just don't find the discussion doesn't do it for me anymore ....end of chat
  13. I wouldn't have a clue...I don't ride myself. What I do know is on the more up to date sites the discussion has moved on to less Jurasic matters like the team and race night. More refreshing!!!
  14. Iproably busy having a life. You should try it sometime. You may enjoy it although I doubt it
  15. Best of luck with your petition and campaign but like I saybored now ...zzzzzzzz
  16. I haven't gone away the discussion just does nothing for me. So don't participate....end if chat
  17. Danny Phillips came through through the Scunthorpe training scheme
  18. I'll sort your post out. Only because it agrees with me mind. You think I'm a chap to? All I can say is I must talk a lot of sense hence the confusion
  19. Pleased for Kirby....that will be one jolly ride home
  20. I will backtrack ever so slightly on the basis that we were at opposite ends of the track (bend 3) and prevailing winds etc..but surely some slack can be afforded for track conditions. It will be interesting to see how Kent in the garden of england manage today
  21. That drum of yours must be wearing a bit thin now but .....I've always admired a man with your staminar
  22. Rubbish....it was at least ht 6-7 but think what you like Infact I've got a recording taken on an ipad of ht 8 with some dust yes but where you can clearly see the riders
  23. Sticks and stones Btw i've been called many things in my time but never a 'he' :-)
  24. I wouldn't normally comment because it just isn't worth it but.........Probably because it was a baking hot afternoon and it would try the patience of the best track curator to keep that track moist? Glad you managed to find something to moan about. Did you miss the minimal power cut? Say what you like about Malcolm. He manages the team like a pro and it is showing in the results not to mention Armo who gave up what he thought was the best gate in ht 15 to Payne to give him the best chance.....
