We were having this conversation at Sheffield the other night after Ben Wilson bust his pelvis. The track record used to be 73 secs (I think)That is now achieved by a youth rider on a 250. Get Well soon Lewis ! -

I'm not sure how welcome Hal would have been as a Lion. Lions fans have long memories. -

They were denied the use of R Worrall at Kings Lynn Wed. Not sure if that's it -

That will be the same promoters who are stopping Leicester from rescuing a morsel from their season by signing Wilko Got a new pair :-) -

I was there. Porsing had been missing the gate and out of control all meeting. So that's no great example. Kerr is not a rider who tends to 'not fancy it' ........ Ref needs to consider the implications for the promoter ? -

I don't think results actually came into it. I think Jason is realist enough to know that when they go down next time the outcome is likely to be similar. I think what did it was the skating and Wilko's nasty fall in ht 9. The sport is a 15 ht affair so al this talk of 10 Hts is foley. That's what we travelled for that's what we paid for and as Jason would be thinking we fell short so on the basis the rain was coming down heavy just as ht 9 was going out and it turned into a 'lets all just get round safely affair'. I consider myself 7 hts short....... Not 1 and I'm not even going to mention the MDL meeting that should have been called off with the impending rain forecast earlier in the day. To stop riders travelling but as it's neither hear nor there to promoters whether these meetings go ahead then they give them little or no thought. Sad to hear Wilko can't sign he's been a real trooper for the Lions :-( -

It should have been stopped at 9 so 2 hts shorts. Watching Kerr who rides that track well skaring around at the back is not speedway -

I don't think it is anything like 12K that has been raised. I think what has actually been raised is a few hundred pounds to buy a 2nd hand engine and get it up to John's standard. he has other engines but no time or money (Or will) to get them sorted as they would take a lot of work but hopefully this will tie him over till it gets sorted. This has highlighted the supplier's of engines and parts unscrupulous trading ethics though. It's win win for the suppliers "No comeback on racing parts" just buy, buy, buy. Sell, sell,sell........Kerching -

Oh dear... Now put your handbag down and see it for what it is !!!!
-
This is my understanding of what you are saying So it's ok if the rider doesn't get injured, is an unpopular chap or an oposing team rider. I'll make a note of that
-
So it is ok just so long as the other party didn't get injured. I'll make a note of that
-
Do you not like Robert Lambert?
-
Begs the question why was Auty not excluded as the 'incident' happened way past the 1st bend. Scunthorpe should feel lucky he was let back in
-
Going for a gap that didn't appear to be there indicates 'intention' If that had have been NP there would be calls to ban him by now
-
Why didn't he come in on a 3 as originally thought
-
Wont BWD in the higher leagues he be stuffed with the Visa issue as a New Zealander, Unless he can prove that winning the NZ Championship is classed as Word Class. I believe Kurtz has British parentage. Where he went wrong was to compete in the Danish league and get 'Experience'.
-
Don't condone it either but flashes of the old Auty in the 1st run, which wouldn't have helped Ok Thanks for that. Hadn't seen anything announced
-
Ummmm !!!!! What i've seen on the video footage is high jinx but it would certainly suit Scunny to have Ipswich's points deducted.... Any news on this broken arm ?
