They aren't generally 3 point riders who go straight to number one once the averages change. They have come in on a 3 point as that's just the format they are actually 7 or 8 point riders already.
The whole point of keeping it Saturday nights is not to unsettle the numbers so 3 pm start may do just as much damage as moving to a week night. Speedway supporters are creatures of habit.........

You could also argue Iversen behind Mads. Isn't it part of track craft to stop your opponent from passing you by blocking him? Hence team riding.
One thing I do believe is points surpass entertainment these days not sure about the 'old days' but racing and entertaining is classed as chucking 'points away'.
TBF Cov did only run their home fixtures in the last 6 weeks of the season. Maybe if they'd run them in the main season they may not have been in the position !!!
