  1. Best of Luck to the Lions for 2016 http://leicesterlions.co/lions-v-tigers-match-preview/ Lions v Tigers Match Preview The speedway season opens on Saturday with the visit of the Sheffield Tigers to the Beaumont Park Stadium to race against the Paul Chapman & Sons Lions in an Inter-League Challenge fixture which gets underway at 1.00 pm. The team will be led out by new captain Nicolai Klindt and he forms an opening partnership with fellow countryman Patrick Hougaard. Grzegorz Walasek and Szymon Wozniak line-up in the same positions in the side as last season and newcomer Sebastian Ulamek takes over the number five berth. With Josh Auty returning that makes five riders who have worn the red and yellow colours before. Josh is partnered by new signing Paul Starke who was an integral part of Pooles Elite League Championship winning side last year. Sheffield, who reached the play-offs last season have once again assembled a strong team and with three former Leicester riders in their side there will be plenty of interest for fans. The Tigers though will be missing their captain and top scorer Simon Stead who was injured whilst competing in a meeting at Kings Lynn last Saturday. In his place the visitors have named Josh Grajczonek as a guest replacement. Re-shaping of the third and fourth bends of the circuit to create more overtaking opportunities on this area of the track has recently been completed. Both Nicolai Klindt and Szymon Wozniak have already practised at Leicester and alterations have reduced the measurement from 317 metres to 302 per lap which means a new track record will be established in the opening heat on Saturday. Teams Leicester: 1. Patrick Hougaard, 2. Nicolai Klindt, 3. Grzegorz Walasek, 4. Szymon Wozniak, 5. Sebastian Ulamek, 6. Josh Auty and 7. Paul Starke Sheffield: 1. Josh Grajczonek, 2. Dimitri Berge, 3. Kyle Howarth, 4. Josh Bates, 5. Jason Garrity, 6. Richard Hall and 7. Nathan Greaves
  2. You can't get into a NL meeting for that !!!
  3. Think you may have the wrong thread. Glynn is talking about Leicester
  4. Is there anyone there that you actually like ?????
  5. It didn't seem to take the Eagles lads long to gain home track advantage......
  6. Sarah is Backroom staff at the Lions and Rob is the Team Manager for the Leicester Riders (Basket ball I think) :-)
  7. More good news......... We are on a roll !!
  8. On a positive note DH gave a great interview on Radio Leicester tonight. Good to hear him talking so positively.
  9. Oh my. Glad she is on the road to recovery.
  10. Are you new to Leicester threads !!! Maybe we should do a quick overview of Leicester threads for anyone new or visiting for the 1st time
  11. Don't mention 'bringing up' I might just do that very thing !!!
  12. I'm not abusing you. I was expressing an 'opinion' and that 'opinion' is that he ignored you anything else is a waste of broadband time. 'Opinion' as you call it works both ways !!!!
  13. I wouldn't waste your broadband. He's probably sat in a dark room with phone in one hand and tossin off with the other at the thought of everyone wondering who is. That's how attention seekers roll
  14. Doesn't he always? I'm not sure he would' be the right rider for the Lions not only that he is Danish
  15. I like the older riders. Not so primadonnaesk . Walasek and Ulameck are top class riders to be fair they have ridden in their National teams and GP's. My comment to LionKing was regarding something different altogether . Should have made that clearer on the post. It will be fun !!!
  16. Indomitable? Is that a saying from the west side of the county ? Isn't that 90% of the BSF? The other 10% make up Speedibee's posts
  17. Good..... Cos you don't have to be !
  18. Good news from StokeFB page I ------------------------------ I went down to see Dave yeaterday. All the drains are in and working well. We've had a lot of rain recently, but there wasn't a puddle to be seen on the track. Before the drains were sorted, the track and the centre would of resembled a lake after the weather recently. Once the weather improves fresh shale will be layed and we will have an excellent racing surface
  19. I think he's pretty much done now !!!! My money is on Neale
