Wasn't at the meeting on Saturday so not sure if heat 13 still available for weekly sponsorship? If the supporters club were prepared to advertise on the fence again then I wonder if they could sponsor heat 13 when Workington are at Berwick. It could get a few more on the bus if there are any spaces left.

That's what was reported by Keith Hamblin so it must be correct.

Hope Ben isn't to tired having a 5550 mile trip 1 way.

Don't see any on the website, twitter or facebook. It does say that David is away to Sheffield.
-
I think Thomas Jorgensen should do ok. I wonder if that means that Claus Vissing isn't returning as they are on the same average (could still fit them both in the team I ).

Will probably get shot to pieces for this. It doesn't bother me either way if Cookie rides in the Premier league or not (The Bandit's will get less stick on twitter if Craig isn't in the league). Last winter a rider who I think was alongside Craig as the 2 best riders in the Premier league failed to get a work permit and was forced to alter their plans ahead of this season (no Premier league) and he is in the Grand Prix series for 2015.

5 of these rider's averages could change because we still have Glasgow to go to.

Seem to remember a couple of years ago we were one of the first to announce our team and then 2 riders were injured. We then had to go back to the drawing board and picked up Ricky. This shows that waiting could be the right idea (teams release their assets once they have completed their teams). As has been previously mentioned we don't have a lot of assets to select from.

Was going for 5 or 6 of these riders for my fantasy team in the Speedway Star. 1. C. Cook 8.50. 2. J. Tabaka 4.75. 3. M Jensen 7.00 4. M. Dyer 4.54 5. R. Worrall 5.64 6. L. Kerr 3.00 7. C. Heeps 4.4. Team average only 37.83 (September averages 53.16)

Sure if we asked Seb nicely he could help us out for a week. -
Berwick Bandits 2013

If Josef Franc would race in most of the Berwick fixtures I would consider him (he missed 4 official matches in 2011 and Seb,David and Alex missed as many this season). On a serious note he would cover for Seb at Shielfield and I think he would be due a testimonial this year (noticed they are mentioned in the season tickets). All will be revealed on Friday anyway so less than a week until you find out (don't expect Pepe to be in the team either). -
If you took the tactical rule out the Premier League grand final you would have different league champions. That team wouldn't have got the point at Newcastle in the group stage to get to the final so the tactical rule played a major part in the play-offs. Doesn't matter now as long as Berwick run next season.

Kozza won the Australian longtrack championship so he must be fit.

The referee's so maybe not as good as it sounds. . It's on the BSPA website.

See we were 2nd in the track of the year (Premier division). We have Redcar in the cup so hopefully a major sponsor can be found.

Redcar V Berwick 6th Sept

Think the BSPA has the rule for the playoff's so the Swedish riders don't get banned by their federation. I was told a while back (by no-one official so could be rubbish) that if the fixtures were ratified by a certain date in March that Swedish riders would ride for their British club. If they changed after that date then the Swedish fixtures would take preference. This seems true to me as Berwick were at Sheffield in the league in June (Seb would have ridden), the match was changed to a league cup match so Seb had to ride in Sweden (Berwick had a conference league guest) as this was a change to the official fixtures. -
Berwick V Leicester 18th August

I seem to remember reading at the start of the season, Berwick would be in the top 6 fighting for the league title. We had Alex and the German (or Lubos) at reserve and Jason (ex PL heatleader) or Filip (ex EL reserve) as a second string. We also had the best top 4 in the league so I wouldn't have said the team make-up was that far away (possibly just me though). -

Take it you were happy when Ricky got 5 points at Ipswich. Seb didn't look fit on Saturday but clearly knows we are struggling badly with injuries so is trying to ride.
