Now I know why I hardly ever post or even read this forum . Ipswich have made a change for the better and all you get is winging and whining from even those who have no connection with Ipswich. Kerr was not cutting it , there is no certainty that Barker will , but at least "something has been done"...

Well as the old saying goes , something had to be done. IMO a good move I think Barker will outscore Kerr and will provide plenty of entertainment too.

Well fought and well won !! What a team. Poland were worthy runners up. Every Danish rider played their part on and off the track. Very pleased especially for Hans. Goes a little way to negate the problems with Horton To those on the Witches forum who are less than gracious to Denmark .... How do you like them apples

Interesting to see the lack of singing tonight What the English riders need is grit , determination and a will to win. Oh and I forgot the most important thing TALANT which they do not have . Big congratulations to Denmark on winning , and to Sweden for at least trying to keep them honest.

This tread is so entertaining Unlike the GP which due to track conditions was very hard work. I think Tony Steel is a decent enough referee and got his decsions right. He doesn't twist and turn like a twisty turny thing

Indeed it was fortunate for Gollob but that's the way the cookie crumbles , by that rationale how did Nicholls earn his last ride off gate 1 !

Quality riders like Nikki and Hans will do well whatever gate they come from. Gollob earned his inside gates and did a superb job. Well done him. The English were poor as usual , Baaa!

Of course hes not happy , why would he be. But he has won three Gps and a World Cup . Not to mention National Titles. Well a League title but thats hardly soley down to him. I said not to mention them , lol ,.as the English title laughingly called British isnt worth squat. Cant think of anything Nicholls has ever won , well nowt worthwhile any way.

Well Im English , not British and have long since given up supporting the load of tripe dished up as a National side. Even the name is wrong. And lets face it whatever they call themselves they are no match for the magnificent Danes. Somebody laughingly called Nicholls a poor mans Hans Andersen. That's an insult to Hans who is a brilliant rider , a winner , not a serial complainer and excuse maker. He just laughed off the failings of the track that almost certainly cost him a place in the final.

Never , LW lol True I wasnt concerned who qualified/won , I just dont like to see a rider fencing another. Lets face it both the English riders were going to be in next year whatever. One the under performer and the other a rookie with promise.

Im sure hes not LW But what changes , he seems to have major problems whenever any of his team member becomes more popular than him , as we know from his time at Ipswich. Terrible decision BTW , should have been awarded , Holta , Harris , Nicholls

Well we all know that it is a fact that at least 2 English riders will be in the GP series , so why is everyone getting so excited. Probably Nicholls and Harris are the best two English riders at the moment. But who knows even that may be disputed on this forum. They may or may not both qualify in their own right this season. Personally I would not bet on it. If they dont they would perhaps up their game rather than be reliant on charity. But of cousre as has been the norm over the past few years Nicholls will be seeded.

What-ho , jaybea ! Well its not for me to say , appears to be his opinion. Im not here to defend him or Nicholls , just made the point that if others didnt keep talking Nicholls up , he may not feel the need to offer his opinion. I was refering to Speedway related facts , I dont go in for personal attacks on anyone. toodle pip

Maybe one of the reasons Mr Sub. feels he needs to keep saying the things he does about Nicholls is that so many come on this and other forums "biging "Nicholls up. Whist I don't agree with all his opinions or many of the Nicholls lovers , I haven't read anything blatantly untrue in what hes posted.
