  1. Now I know why I hardly ever post or even read this forum . Ipswich have made a change for the better and all you get is winging and whining from even those who have no connection with Ipswich. Kerr was not cutting it , there is no certainty that Barker will , but at least "something has been done"...
  2. Well as the old saying goes , something had to be done. IMO a good move I think Barker will outscore Kerr and will provide plenty of entertainment too.
  3. I have not posted or even read this childish forum for ages but found this thread thanks to Sue's FB page. To the Updates team , thank you very much. They all provide a 1st class and very much appreciated service.. I was fortunate enough to sponsor a heat for several years and hope they continue all the good work !
  4. Tad early for that Old Chap !! Even for me Sir Watkyn sent me a couple of Bottles of a nice First Cask . I'll give you the verdict later today
  5. Anyone count how many times Nicholls uttered " Y'a know". I gave up after two short interviews and it was 49 !!! Anyway it was a terrible shock seeing him on the TV at breakfast time Almost choked on me Bucks Fizz
  6. Well fought and well won !! What a team. Poland were worthy runners up. Every Danish rider played their part on and off the track. Very pleased especially for Hans. Goes a little way to negate the problems with Horton To those on the Witches forum who are less than gracious to Denmark .... How do you like them apples
  7. Interesting to see the lack of singing tonight What the English riders need is grit , determination and a will to win. Oh and I forgot the most important thing TALANT which they do not have . Big congratulations to Denmark on winning , and to Sweden for at least trying to keep them honest.
  8. Perhaps they are unsure of the words This wouldn't happen if Kevin Darling was in the team , he knew the words to all four verses As always I shall be cheering for Hans and the Danes.
  9. Well I like him , I didnt need to be told who won . I knew.
  10. I like them both , I think they do an ok job. Of the two I perfer Mr Millard
  11. This tread is so entertaining Unlike the GP which due to track conditions was very hard work. I think Tony Steel is a decent enough referee and got his decsions right. He doesn't twist and turn like a twisty turny thing
  12. Well spotter , Hector. I wonder what the reason is ! Perhaps it would be a wise decision not to have any in next years unless they qualify by right.
  13. Indeed it was fortunate for Gollob but that's the way the cookie crumbles , by that rationale how did Nicholls earn his last ride off gate 1 !
  14. Quality riders like Nikki and Hans will do well whatever gate they come from. Gollob earned his inside gates and did a superb job. Well done him. The English were poor as usual , Baaa!
