  1. I hope they show Laguta's helmet cam from that first lap, not normally a fan of helmet cam footgae but that would be interesting.
  2. Calm down fella, no need to shout. Oh and cheers for the updates Paul, luckily you kept us well in the loop til the coverage started
  3. No worries mate, you provide plenty in terms of racecards etc, thanks for this evening's by the way, although it's printed in portrait for some reason, so rather small, it's much appreciated.
  4. Not being funny Paul but they may well show it from the start when it eventually comes on, could do without the results thanks
  5. Surely if the British authorities had wanted to take part then tonight's domestic meeting would have been rescheduled and every effort would have been made to ensure we had decent representation in Poland, truth is we have muppets running our speedway, muppets who can't see beyond their own selfish ends. I never thought I would see a meeting like this go ahead with out a British interest in it, so glad I got to see the likes of PC, Louis, Simmons, Morton, Wilson et al flying our flag when it mattered, doubtful that we will ever be a force in the sport again. On the plus side I'm looking forward to a decent live meeting this evening. Edit, or maybe not!!!
  6. Any chance of a pm re the stream please r+r
  7. Ok well call me old school or whatever but any rider that dropped a bike to avoid an opponent who was about to come to grief should be applauded and should not be excluded. From your post I take it you would rather they just keep going and cause even more injury, great stuff. Vaculik had a box seat view of what was about to happen, all in a split second he could see that Tai was going to take Pedersen out and took the necessary action, well done I say.
  8. But I wasn't trying to take it to that degree, I'm not arguing in Tai's defence on this one, just Martin Vaculiks, he showed great skills to lay it down and avoid a certain collision with Tai & possibly Pedersen. As for Tai, the whole thing was started by Freddie giving him a nudge, on another night, in another race it would probably not have led to the same outcome, Tai would have ridden through it, maybe lost a place end of. As it happened he was forced across into Pedersen, someone has to go, it had to be Freddie imo.
  9. But surely the fact that he took evasive action to avoid a certain crash means he shouldn't be excluded, that's the way it's always been, quite rightly so. As has been said, he should be commended for that action.
  10. Go on then I'll bite.. So Vaculik should have been excluded you say, for what? He should be commended for ensuring he was fully aware of what was going on around him, he would have known that Tai was heading straight into Pedersen, so he laid his bike down to avoid adding to the carnage. Here, have another look, it's clear what he did,
  11. Seems to me like you're the only one making a big deal of that particular incident, for most it's been mentioned in passing. I could hazard a guess and say you don't like Tai but it would only be a guess. Agreed, it was good to see Cookie get a couple of rides, also Josh, neither of them let themselves down.
  12. Terrified ref, of who, what? He wasn't working for the British. It was a racing incident, there are always going to be differing opinions on the cause, for me Freddie gave him a nudge, maybe that took him in to a rut on the track which caused the rest, I'm sure he didn't aim the bike at Pedersen deliberately. Either way it's a bit crass to gloat that he scored more points, the lad was injured.
  13. Good to read some positivity amongst all the gloom in this thread, glad your friend enjoyed, hope you told them it's not like that at Brandon, could be a bit of a downer for them next week
  14. That was a better move than Harris in heat 9, I doth my cap.
  15. Your post immediately invoked the visual memory of Trick and his wall of death approach from a Cardiff GP, can see him on exit from the 2nd bend with his wheels climbing the fence. So here's hoping you're right and we get some exciting speedway, if not, well it seems every conceivable effort has been made in such adversity, credit where it's due. Also, thanks due to Philip Rising for keeping us all properly informed, considering some of the rubbish that gets spouted on here by the doom-mongers we are very lucky that he bothers to go to such lengths to keep us nearer to being 'in the loop' than most of us could ever get, cheers Philip, much appreciated.
  16. Get real, as you say this is a one off, since when did preparing temporary tracks become easier than maintaining one that's been in existence for decades? So many variables to consider but I would say that moisture content in the shale is one of the MOST important factors, also probably the one aspect that is nigh on impossible to fully control. As far as we know we've got a speedway meeting to look forward to later, here's hoping it's an exciting one with nobody getting injured.
  17. Come on fellas, no need to fall out, we've been treated to a decent meeting, whether in attendance or on the screen it was a worthwhile watch. One small misdemeanour that only served to benefit the opposition in terms of galvanising them at a crucial stage of the meeting, so all's well that ends well eh.
  18. How very dare you... Looked more like a peck on the peak to me.
