There were no Americans riding in the British Finals. I agree about Ward, he seemed to have got a grip of that petulant streak but it resurfaced last night, just because things weren't going his way, poor form.

That start line cone being left out was unforgivable. I've always rated Kings Lynn, track prep, presentation etc but that was one of the worst things I've seen, absolutely no excuse for that. Come on GB, hold your nerve lads..

Can't argue with that but he was played by Pedersen, there are none better than him when it comes to mugging referees. All part of the game I suppose but it doesn't half wind me up. Ah well, decent evening of speedway, for that we have to be grateful, thanks Eurosport.

It helps not having anyone to follow, I don't mind who wins at all so am quite relaxed and enjoying the racing. Really interesting track and the bad inside gates mean the scores are remaining fairly close, hadn't noticed the tapes going up uneven but will watch for it now.. Surprising that no riders have complained, or maybe they have..

Can't argue with any of that, can't understand why people are griping, everyone knows the system and it works fine. Troy Batchelor did well enough last night to get himself amongst the riders pushing to get into one of the top eight places, before last night he was languishing down amongst the dead men with Chris Harris, I'm sure he's happy with his work and will no doubt feel a lot more confident next time out. I enjoyed last nights meeting, great to see different riders staking a claim, much better than having one or two steaming away into the distance with unassailable points totals, roll on Cardiff.

You must have witnessed some incredible meetings if you rate that rubbish, it was ok imo, some good passes and not easy to know who would make the semis before the last round of heats. Really interesting meeting for me, enjoyed it, roll on Cardiff, hope they get the track right. Well done Batchelor, never would have expected that points haul from him.....

Only 2 races so far but this has the makings of a decent meeting, track looks like it may produce some great racing, here's hoping..
