Weather forecast looking better from mid morning on tomorrow, so I'm also really fancying having a look at the new place, not attended for about 10 years and am hoping to rediscover all the things I loved about actually going to a meeting. I'd quite like to watch from the first bend terrace, although it would be good to have a wander round, can any of the regulars tell me, if I buy a ticket online is it just a general terrace ticket I want, or can I specify once I start the purchase process? Also, if I do go for the first bend will I have to remain there for the whole meeting, or is there an option to transfer to the back straight? Thanks in advance.

Any chance of a link? Please

You're right there robert, fans at the actual tracks would probably tell you to bore off and annoy someone else, you wouldn't last 5 minutes. We hear you loud and clear regarding your opinion of the World Champion, your bitterness shines through, now how about giving us all a break fella.
-
Can't agree with you there Joe, as pointed out tracks almost always differ from practice to meeting, riders constantly refer to it in interviews. If there was anyone British and better than Harris waiting to take the gp berth then fair enough but there isn't anyone just yet. Andy Smith or Stoney were never likely to win it but they were in it on merit as far as I recall. I'd say fair play to Chris Harris for showing commitment to the UK and in true Kevin Keegan style I would love it, just love it if he got on the rostrum both nights.

You're right it would but then that would only encourage you to continue being a lazy git, wouldn't it. tbh it was your pompous attitude that bugged me, "so I ask again", what's that about. Anyway, just this once and only for you, it starts at 19.30 uk time

It's on the bt sport planner you lazy bugger.

Fair do's, thanks for explaining that.

Another thread goes west but what I can't understand is how can Sparkafag edit The Mockingjay's posts, post 928 for example?

Good Morning Alan, I'm sure the good elements of this section will prevail, it's a great hang out even though I don't post all the time I'm always lurking and keeping up with events. Stick with it pal. As for Mothers Day, it's not officially today but it's as good a day as any to remember my mum and all she did for me, so thanks for the suggestion mate. -

I know what you mean Joe but then again it's always good to have a spin around on the grass in your car without getting in any trouble. -

These were your first 2 posts of the day on this thread, so if you weren't implying that the speedway should have gone ahead because the stock cars were running then tell me what you were saying. Obviously your first post quoted above was so completely wide of the mark and just another example of your nasty nature. Do you ever wonder why you get the same treatment on here as you do on the stock car forum? Must be everybody else eh... -

You just get worse, it's 12.30 just now, the speedway was due to start half an hour ago, I'm less than 20 miles from the track and rest assured it's tipping down. The stock cars are due to start about 4pm I believe, the forecast is somewhat brighter but, as others have already said, what difference does a bit of rain make to stock cars other than in attendance figures? It's no surprise to read that you also get grief on the stock car forum. -

Possibly, but since the council are the customer rather than Belle Vue it's unlikely that BV are gaining anything from any penalty clause. Hopefully they at least aren't having to shell out for the use of the stadium until a meeting takes place. edit, beat me to it Joe, I'm sure it will be the case. Used for what? As already pointed out it will no doubt be the construction company who will be footing the bill. Get back under your stone. -

Indeed, perhaps we should all let them know how impressed we are, a quick email would suffice I'm sure. We need to give them all the encouragement possible to keep them interested in our sport. Well done Natalie Quirk, great start. -

Points are going all over the place, impossible to call the semis at this stage, really enjoying it. -

I know it says 'no discussion' but just wanted to say I hope someone is going to keep this thread supplied with a racecard, they enhance the GP viewing experience for me bigtime, I also send one in the post to my brother who doesn't have a printer, so hopefully there will be one on offer soon so I can catch the post. Many thanks to all who provide them, much appreciated. Mods, delete the post if you must.

Nice ride by young Max there, Holta did well to protect him early on and held up Pepe nicely. -

I'm sure they would but I've no idea how, Steve Shovlar one to ask as I think that's how he watches. I use Kodi but through my laptop, which I can plug into my tv via a hdmi lead if I want. Unsure whether you need to purchase anything to set it up through your smart tv but if you can go on the internet with it then I'm sure there will be a way of doing without having to buy any sort of box. -
Modern stadiums were a factor in driving me away from football. If they bring back terracing I would reconsider though.
