  1. I think in general most tracks are reasonably well served by their local media/newspaper outlets. The main problem seems to be the national bodies although as has been well documented here the guest/doubling up-down situation doesn't help in that respect. Also speeway's inability to promote itself outwith it's own bubble remains an obstacle as Philip Rising has already pointed out. Anyway a good discussion spoilt slightly by a couple of irrelevant contributions by the Forum's resident racist/homophobic contributors.
  2. Jeez, you don't half ramble on--------. I'm off now before your minder George M comes along to rescue you.
  3. What was happening next ? Pretty obvious. They were trying to fix the lights. Also our regular presenter, the ultra professional Scott Wilson was not on duty last night which didn't help the presentation. However don't let that detract from your multiple critical posts relating to an event at which you were not present. Maybe we should have put on tractor races (with headlights on) to make the visiting hordes from the Weedge feel at home.
  4. You're mate must be pretty thick. The lights were out. The clue was the darkness.
  5. In the old days Pravda never released photographs criminalising the State.
  6. In an earlier post you described your sensitivity and subsequent action in relation to an alleged gesture made by Sam Masters. On that basis I assume you've also had to explain to your seven year old the meaning of "FFS" in your latest rant.
  7. Don't think BT Sport were over impressed by Tai's language going by the speed of Steve Brandon's apology or the size of their on-screen apology. Could be damaging the next time the TV contract comes up for negotiation. Also sponsors generally take a dim view of such behaviour. The spitting and one finger actions were also unimpressive. He needs to grow up, he's not a teenager any more. You could argue that swearing may be excusable in the heat of the moment following a track incident or bad refereeing decision but certainly not in a one to one podium interview with the meeting presenter which is broadcast to a 40,000 live qcrowd and a TV audience.
  8. No problem - didn't criticise your spelling, only your misuse of the apostrophe. Anyway best of luck to your soccer team in the Petrofact Cup Final (Scottish football's equivalent to speedway's long lamented Spring Trophy) when the big day comes.
  9. Gavc - to add to your grammar lesson plurals don't require an apostrophe prior to the "s" as you continually portray. Also your earlier invitation to meet up with Cyclone at Ashfield's fourth bend sounded like a threat. No need for that in speedway. Oh I forgot you're a Sevco supporter and that's wheat you do.
  10. Can confirm that it is a truly beautiful part of Europe. Probably the most scenic of the GP venues
