Paul Lydes-Uings - Ex-Eastbourne and others

What's wrong with that, it's not illegal!
-
And no running to the touchline seemingly every 5 minutes for an energy drink.
-
Correct! All were open license venues that staged WCQR meetings. There was hardly a shortage of tracks then so I wonder what the rationale was?
-
Ipswich were also running Open meetings in 1965. On the subject of 1965, what did these 4 tracks have in common? Cowdenbeath, Ipswich, K.Lynn, Rayleigh.
-
Pretty sure it was Colin Richardson.
-
That was Roy Nicol.
-
Paul Simon would not appreciate you getting that so wrong!
-
Adults/kids with work/school has never held Poole or plenty of other midweek tracks back.
-
Do they offer any GF or vegan options for example? If not, then it's perfectly reasonable for anyone on a special diet to bring their own.
-
I'll stick with Exeter as Crumpie himself said if it was held there he'd win and also it's the only example so far of a rider not on his home track.
-
Phil Crump if it was at Exeter.
-
And his relationship with 'Moley'.
-
My cheekier take on them: Peter made World Champion Les made World Runner-up Phil made the World Final Neil made the British Final Steve made the tea
-
Or Vic, pre-war Southampton captain.
-
Are you sure it wasn't Kevin?
-
Isn't Quest 'normal TV' then?

Edinburgh Marine Gardens. Side by side georeferenced maps viewer - Map images - National Library of Scotland (nls.uk) It's clear to see why it was so-named.
-
It was speedway in the 1950's, initially for training but the Ringwood Turfs were members of the SAL in 1954/5. It was later used by Poole for training in the early 70's. The track you saw racing on was the 'mini longtrack' which was closed after a sidecar fatality in 1992.
