  1. Depends who the last two would be really. But imo very strong.
  2. Good luck to Timbo, on the move again, he was going great guns last year keeping up with Kyle, Todd & Jonesy around an 8 point ave up until loss of form & his injury. Shrewd signing IMO. Pickard is a man in demand. How about Brendon Johnson? Seems your setting up your side to please me. Strong Top 3. Just need to get the next couple of signings right.
  3. I have to agree 100%, he was back to his best when he guested for rye down at our place towards the end of last year. If he starts off with the form he finished off with i think he will average 9+ easy....(assuming he stays fit).
  4. Number 8 named. Lloyd Barratt son of wayne Anybody seen him ride???? Hope they give him a few rides this year & plenty of track time Full article http://speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.9987
  5. EPIC........what a great a bit of positive news Well done to everyone involved. Great news for all the fen tigers fans, to know that speedway is back.
  6. Depends on the other teams named & how much faith you have in the team. JWW & Young were averaging 5.5ish early part of the season last year.
  7. Definitely Agree, im looking forward to the NL so much this year, be good to see some new teams....and be good to see the legions of heathens fans going everywhere again.... Hope Stoke have a good season though, for there fans. Hope C Wright & Brundle ride this year too. If you think Kurtz, Herne, Roynon, Lambert,Armstrong,Branford,Garrity,Mallett, Brundle?, C Wright? Thats without mentioning the likes of Morris, Birks, The Worralls, Perry who will all be up there too.
  8. Agree. All we need is JWW, Tom & Matt to ave a little bit more ie 5-6 and we will have a solid side. They are all capable of that imo. Andrews & Gough should be good at home. Herne & Kurtz will be super strong & will be battling to be the divisions top rider.
  9. Nope. It's not what is written in law. And if it was British sport would be in a lot worse state.
  10. Agree at least we have local riders, ex hornets & young brits getting a go and two aussies to annoy the anti aussie brigade
  11. Agree all the best TA except when you race us .
  12. Yep it is. That's why we should sign one more . Guess that's out the window bates & andrews last two for the hornets. Happy enough with the side though
  13. Not too forget a bit of entertainment & someone to lead by example
  14. Pickard or Johnson would be good. Wed have 2 places left, think we will be using 2 new riders, although Reade wld be a gd option. Didn't Morris & Branford come in on 3s because of british passports. So perhaps we could have some more aussies?
  15. Agreed, Gutted for you Henning, Ive seen you ride a couple of times over here & have always found you entertaining & a 100% trier What a stupid system we have in place Only in the UK, would we have such an illogical inconsistent system, and uphold it so bureaucratically.
  16. Scunthorpe? Newcastle? Plymouth? Would be my guesses but im unsure as too which id favour.
  17. Doubt it will be matched as a pairing on paper (i.e.averages) 2bh. Agreed we could have a long tail. Depends on Herne's Ave for next year, as too how long i think. Think we can safely assume JWW & Tom Young will be back
  18. Kurtz will be no more expensive than last year at NL level, or any increase wouldnt be that significant. Herne logically i would say yes. Awesome looking top two
  19. Kurtz confirmed http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.9946
  20. Kurtz confirmed http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.9946
  21. Yeah true, i agree with your point it will undoubtedly be financially hard hitting. Hopefully twice weekly matches will be kept to a minimum. But whatever day of the week it is, if it runs twice a week it will have the same effect, the people who couldnt afford to go last year wont be likely to be able to this year . My preference for those days is because im 22, im in uni & im off on fridays. Im fortunate that i will most probs be able too cos im a student, & even if i couldnt then my dad would probs pay. Hopefully they have got a plan in place because i know a few people already have seen the PL prices and gone ouch, but ive said on the PL thread about what people perceive as Value For Money is what is the factor in the decision not the outright increase in cost. And IMHO they didnt have a choice as a business. Having studied Business Studies/Economics & Accounting i can see past just the increase. For an Adult in comparison to last year in match terms at PL level it would take you until your 14th home meeting before you lose a match compared to last year. Hopefully the increase in cost for PL prices will be compensated with the hornets, or they can come up with a discounted price for attending the NL match as well as the PL, etc. They actively promoted last year after we were saved i hope that continues.
