  1. Would mean Gappmaier being in the main body of the team. If Spud gets 2.5% reduction could still keep Theo at the expense of Danni.
  2. But hey ho it's speedway Taffy I could be a mile out with that lineup
  3. Was there in 1977 as the bonny Bandits were in the cup final. We got humped but happy days.
  4. Be interesting to see what lineup we announce for 2019. Summers 7-18 NBJ 6-58 Jye. 6-30 Doolan 6-09 Pijper 5-49 Leon. 2-00 33-64 leaves 4-36 thanks to the 38pt rule
  5. Will miss the Panthers fans who always came to Berwick and boosted the bar profits in the Black and Gold. Good luck for 2019
  6. Congratulations to Martin and yourself on your well deserved award. Good luck for an even better 2019
  7. And the Bandits, Redcar everyone else whose future is not the best at the moment
  8. Gappmaier would probably benefit from a smaller track. His form at Shielfield was good but some of his away performances were less inspiring.
  9. Great idea let us move away from a facility already in place, try and get planning permission which would never happen and go to the expense of building a new track. I sat at a public meeting in 1981 at Chirnside, when speedway were offered land there for a new track and as we know never happened.
  10. Good shout but Berwick's best crowds are against Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Redcar, Workington. What kind of crowds would they get against Buxton, Isle of Wight, etc. Dropping into the NL they would still have to pay the same rent for the stadium. As regards weekends off now and again, one of the biggest complaints this season has been the lack of meetings and gaps in the fixture list.
  11. David Howe announced his retirement from racing.Still going to be involved in the sport helping Nickolaj Busk Jakobsen.
  12. Pleased I dropped my average gets me a team place for 2019
  13. Well done Kevin kept a few of the why have we got him guesting brigade quiet.
  14. Yes both teams have proved the experts wrong. Workington could end up with a lot of silverware by the end of the season.
  15. David Howe is fit to ride would love to see us get a result but Edinburgh very strong at home. Safe meeting to both sets of riders.
  16. Home defeat against Workington has cost us dearly but you never know
  17. Looks much better for Saturday, hoping the Bandits continue where they left off last Thursday
  18. 1 or 2 of the Berwick riders not ridden for 3 weeks. Nice away win would keep us in with a shout of the playoffs. Safe meeting to both teams
  19. Nobody wants to see riders injured. What is annoying is there are a lot less fixtures than last season, the weather has been amazing and teams are still behind when it comes to completion.
  20. More comedy than the Palladium not hard to do hahaha
  21. Once they realised Coty was not getting 18pts the panic set in lol
  22. Would have been more optimistic if NBJ had still been at reserve, Gappmaier now drops down and normally struggles at Ipswich. Due to Berwick's efficiency in getting all their home meetings done and dusted, a lot of the riders have had almost a 3 week break from riding. Just hope it is a good close safe meeting.
  23. Exactly Doolan Number 1 at the cut off date plus in his defence has not ridden for over 2 weeks due to Berwick completing their home fixtures in good time.
