  1. Always plenty gossip to keep us fans occupied in the winter.
  2. Richard Lawson guested 3 times for Berwick scored about 43pts, so if that is the way it works must be nailed on for Berwick eh no. Freddy had had a very barren spell points wise until that guest appearance for Glasgow. I think depending on NDL format he will stay at Belle Vue Colts who ride normally on a Friday night, and he has already said he would like to be back at Berwick 2025 who persevered with him all of 2024.
  3. If i was a betting man i think Kemp, Hume, Borke, depending what happens at AGM average wise if we have to go with a 2pt rider i think Hodder will improve. Rory i would have back but is it 1 injury to much for him we will see, as he was still doing a good job. Kerr started off like a world beater then injuries slowed him down a bit, finished just under an 8pt average nevertheless would he be interested in coming back ? Finally Jye there is a saying change is as good as a rest i think after 8 seasons at Berwick if you count 2020 Jye would probably benefit from a change of track and on a 4.98 average makes him a good option.
  4. We had a 3 week and a 5 week break at Berwick unreal
  5. I am sure it was on BSPA Website before start of 2023 season it was going to be 2H 2A. So looks like it changed at the AGM to remain at 1H 1A.
  6. Changes to the ownership of Berwick Speedway see co-owner Scott Courtney stepping down after seven years’ at the helm. Along with brother Jamie he bought the club from John Anderson in 2017 and has also acted as promoter and team manager during that spell. Jamie becomes sole owner of Berwick Speedway and will continue to plan for the 2025 season alongside promoter Steven Dews and team manager Stewart Dickson.
  7. Wasn't a bad meeting at all against Birmingham, with some decent racing on a well prepared track. 20 of us down from Berwick checked into Ibis nice pub, next door Norfolk Arms £1-95 a pint as it was happy hour lol. Quick pint in the Old Crown then into the stadium, bumped into a Bandit from long way back Doug Wyer looking well. Booked a table for the carvery excellent view and food, although it wasn't £1-95 a pint so just the 1 lol. After the meeting we all went to the Bankers Draft to finish a good night off.
  8. same format as a superheat points wise and they know how to win one of them 😜
  9. A season that promised so much but delivered nothing. Injuries to Lewi, Rory and Bastian derailed a season full of ambition. Personally I would keep Drew, Danyon and Bastian for 2025 and let's see what the AGM brings in regards to team building.
  10. Unfortunately it is what it is around a football pitch the track was widened 2020
  11. Due to the ridiculous fixture list our season is finished before Butlin's
  12. Rattled through the fixtures April / May then blank Saturdays left right and centre. We started on May 22nd after lockdown in 2021 and still got fixtures completed in plenty time.
  13. Bandits final home league match of the season as they welcome the Workington Comets. For the Bandits hoping to make it 3 home wins in a row R/R for Rory, while Connor Coles guests for Bastian. For Workington who still have playoff aspirations Erik Riss guests for the unavailable Craig Cook, with Simon Lambert also in replacing the injured Tate Zische. My prediction home win 48-42
  14. spoke to declan on Saturday he is going to be back riding 2025
  15. 17 home meetings max if you have an outstanding season, so starting on April 27th and allowing blank Saturdays for British Final,SON, Cardiff, and the weather behaving Sept 14th finish.
  16. never understand why we started season so early with only 9 teams in the League
