  1. In 1981 the Bandits were homeless and carried on riding home fixtures at Barrow, Workington and Glasgow before being forced to quit NL racing after a protest from Edinburgh boss Mike Parker. The Bandits were, however, allowed to defend their KO Cup, reaching the final against Edinburgh, which the Monarchs won.
  2. Doolan would still do a good job in the Bandits never mind Bullets team
  3. I want Berwick to win as much as any other fan but we have to be realistic. Oxford are a much stronger team that what we humped last season, with the additiion of Masters & Kerr backing Nicholls in a strong top 3 plus good back up in Jenkins and Atkins who is starting to come good. I think we possibly shade it at reserve with Hook who has been a good addition & Connor who has been reliable all season. Prediction Oxford 52 Bandits 38
  4. If Josh is going to be out for a while i would be looking at Jake Turner
  5. Freeman is 18 Watson 23 this year
  6. Plus we had Bomber scoring 14pts. Only Nicholls & Heeps remain from last season for Oxford
  7. they are wanting to ride weekends in Championship 2024 all being good
  8. Yes in this weeks Speedway Star. Things looking a lot more positive
  9. Neil Middleditch top scored for Arena that day
  10. He is going in as Team Manager not their new Number 1
  11. Lack of fixtures keeping our {Berwick} average quite high. We have had 3 meetings this month so should drop a little bit
  12. i am sure at one time averages were just for programmed rides where now it seems to be every ride.
  13. Berwick Website shows July 15th. Plymouth website shows July 15th and August 6th which is a Sunday
  14. Exactly Berwick is what it is. Track was widened in 2020 we have seen some decent racing especially last season with Bomber, and we have had meetings that were not so decent but that is how it goes. Redcar & Scunthorpe are probably 2 of the tracks where you expect passing week in and out.
  15. Looking at table this morning Birminghan now in playoff place
  16. Douglas probably made decisions that Rogers wouldn't have.
  17. Batchelor and having Douglas as TM made the difference
  18. Next home meeting for Berwick July 15th but before that we have away meetings at Plymouth, Oxford & Poole.
