  1. Good old days of Saturday night speedway
  2. This fixture has been removed from Berwick website
  3. To many clubs have a Champagne lifestyle on a Irn Bru budget
  4. Bandits welcome Workington to Shielfield hoping to continue their run of home league wins. For the Bandits Kyle Howarth is back again, this time guesting for Craig Cook who is on a mandatory 7 day ban due to non speedway illness. Workington are at full strength so this will be a first time visit for Fraser Bowes. Again this has the makings of a close meeting and with former Bandits Etheridge & Hook in their ranks Workington will be hoping to keep it close. Bandits need to start looking at 50+ scores at home if they want to start accumulating bonus points in order to make the playoffs. My prediction if Hagon and Hume repeat last weeks performance's 51-39. Bandits: Kyle Howarth, Sam Hagon, Danyon Hume, Drew Kemp, Peter Kildemand, Dayle Wood, Jack Smith Comets: Troy Batchelor, Fraser Bowes, Tate Zischke, Antti Vuolas, Jye Etheridge, Jacob Hook Vinnie Foord
  5. A rider may ride as a guest (in an official meeting) at a track only once in an 8 day period (within that league) excluding Play Offs, unless he is replacing the home teams #1
  6. Bandits: Kyle Howarth, Sam Hagon, Danyon Hume, Drew Kemp, Peter Kildemand, Dayle Wood, Jack Smith Comets: Troy Batchelor, Fraser Bowes, Tate Zischke, Antti Vuolas, Jye Etheridge, Jacob Hook Vinnie Foord
  7. Hagon & Hume back up the top 3 well 2 last night and my prediction is spot on 😜
  8. 3 meetings in 5 weeks not ideal either. The rest of the team all double up with Dayle riding in NDL
  9. Redcar were on a 5-1 and Riss was holding Wright up. Wright passed him then tried to team ride him both Bandits passed him.
  10. C𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵 R.E.D Campers Bandits No.1 Craig Cook has been forced out of tonight’s clash with Redcar Bears after making the club aware at lunchtime he was suffering from Covid. After exhausting all guest options the Bandits will operate rider replacement in his absence.
  11. If Hagon & Hume back up the top 3 Berwick should do enough to win. Expecting another tight meeting so will go 48-42 to Berwick
  12. After a 5 week break in home fixtures, Bandits welcome Redcar for a 2nd time this season this time with league points at stake. For the Bandits Peter Kildemand misses this fixture due to injury, with Kyle Howarth stepping in as a guest. Redcar also have injury problems with Jason Edwards out for 5/6 weeks, so Simon Lambert is their choice of guest. For the Bandits to have any playoff aspirations home wins are a must, and they will be hoping to carry on from their previous home victory against Poole. Another close meeting looks to be on the agenda.
  13. Team manager Stewart Dickson was candid in his assessment after the meeting: “I cannot fault the effort from the boys but we are just not strong enough to challenge the top teams in the league at the moment. “We now need to dust ourselves down and prepare for a must-win meeting on Saturday.”
  14. As i previously posted Berwick rely heavily on their top 3 performing. Kemp had an off night last night, while Kildermand would have scored more than Leon. Berwick reserves picked up their points due to Poole riders falling so result could have been worse.
  15. A lot of people have a BSN season pass, so will now watch it at home getting there moneysworth rather than attend the meeting. Probably be a different audience for the live stream.
  16. Apart from Redcar away Berwick have score 40 + on their away travels. We do rely on out top 3 scoring well ,only time they had a off night we scored 37 at Redcar although Smith scored well at Glasgow & Redcar. Kildermand will be a miss although Leon has had some decent scores at Poole. If Hagon and Hume turn up i think 50-40 if not 58-32.
  17. Could have understood Plymouth or Scunthorpe but Redcar & Workington are normally 2 of our better crowds
  18. 2 home meetings in a row whoop whoop ,then a 3 week break till the next one
  19. we stayed last night in Machester. The difference i found was when we went into spoons probably a handful of speedway fans in, where as in Cardiff it was like a reunion with fans you know from other tracks. Sat in the East Stand £79 a ticket and never heard one single announcement time or anything else. Racing was decent enough and the weather was a bonus.
  20. Both teams will probably win their home match just a case of who gets the bonus point
