  1. Berwick in 1968 although the experts back then didn't think we would last more than a season
  2. I can remember when practice used to be from around 10am to around 6pm. Lots of riders would turn up hoping to impress. I also remember school teacher taking us on a if my memory still working a Tuesday afternoon to watch the Bandits practising. As Mary Hopkin said Those Were The Days. Sunday afternoons at Berwick were regular as well
  3. Bowtell,Starke, Coles, Palovaara,Wethers
  4. Kildemand announced for Ben Fund meeting
  5. Think that would depend on the council allowing it and if Football Club have a fixture that day as they have had a few games postponed due to the weather.
  6. If you have a brilliant season in the Championship your looking at 17 home meetings. 8 League 4 BSN includes Semi& Final, KO Cup 3, Playoffs 2. So Berwick could open May 2nd and have 25 Saturdays to race 17 meetings. It would be 27 but obviously i have taken Glasgow GP Round and British GP into account
  7. Extra meetings now with Buxton as well
  8. Berwick could have easily fitted him in but stuck with Smith
  9. I didn't see the harm in it, it also meant as we could actually see the draw Berwick avoided Redcar 😁😁
  10. Not really only differece is our beach has occasional dolphins and salmon no sharks lol
  11. 20 meetings for Berwick 5 retirements
  12. Get mine online and it is there every Thursday morning, plus keeps wife happy as no Speedway Stars taking up attic space
  13. Bowtell, Hook,Heeps,Gusts,Knudsen,Vuolas,Starke to name a few on the sidelines from 2025
  14. Wouldn't surprise me if things not going to plan Kemp possibly back.
  15. In his interview in today's Speedway Star he has signed for a Premiership Club. He said to ride Championship he would have had to be at a Wednesday night club but was close to resigning for Berwick. PL average with reduction 4.72
  16. Dickson may remember Drews attitude for Berwick which was good
  17. Drew told me not riding Championship this season due to the logistics involved with him riding abroad. The 2 seasons he has been at Berwick he has been excellent both on and off the track improving both seasons.
  18. I know last season Berwick had a 5 week gap
  19. Correct i spoke to Drew on what should have been the day of the AGM. He did say due to the logistics of riding abroad he would more than likely not be riding in Championship this season.
