  1. Good luck to everyone there at Mildenhall.I hope speedway is up and running again sooner rather than later
  2. It's ok Shaz it made Dallas,DieNasty,Corrie etc look like a women's institute outing to the Cotswalds Will you be wearing the Sky Helmetcam for your visit to Coventry? Would love to see you "winding it all on" to quote Nigel Pearson p.s anybody who did genuinely cheer when Rory Sclein fell off needs a boot right up their hard drive,no matter whether it's a crucial point in the meeting or whatever..frickin' sickos-some of the people on this forum who have tried to qualify their cheering of a crash just shows them up for what they are....... <removed, more personal abuse and trolling> Apologies for my alleged profanities, but the cheering of fallen riders really gets to me
  3. Well said Custom House Kid Up the 'Ammers!!! One of my heroes Jack Young rode for West 'Am and the Monarchs (the only rider to be back to back world champ as a 2nd and then 1st division rider...quality! )
  4. Apologies (well kind of )..was using 'plush grandstand' as a metaphor for your superior attitude that comes across in your posts. Why the hell would teams want to come up to the Elite League??the vast majority(not all thankfully ) of matches will cure insomnia at a stroke. Some of the worst meetings i've seen have been when the so called 'best riders in the world' have been there.Just because they call it 'Elite' doesn't mean it is in speedway racing and entertainment terms.<personal abuse removed>
  5. One does apologise Steve but i say it as i see it..and you <personal abuse removed>.the Premier league has so much to offer and doing down teams in our league because they don't have the dosh for plush grandstands etc seems a very narrow attitude to have, but there ya go.I've seen some of the best speedway in my life in spartan (to put it politely) surroundings. It's the racing that i go to see because above everything i love speedway. If you'll pardon the expression ..you sound very 'Elitist' p.s anyone who did cheer Rory Schlein (or any rider come to think of it) when he came off last night deserves a boot right up their hard drive..capiche?Give the lad pelters when he is up and ok by all means-we pays our money etc etc but if people did do that it's disgraceful
  6. <removed - cut out the personal abuse please>.I'd much rather watch racing in whats basically a field like say Scunthorpe/Redcar/Somerset etc (who fought and fought to get any sort of speedway track) than sit in a glass fronted stand <removed - cut out the personal stuff> watching a gate 'n' go borefest. No wonder teams don't want to go up to the Elite League.'playing with the big boys?' your having a giraffe! i don't think all Elite league tracks/ fans/etc are crap before the cavalry try to run me over <more personal stuff removed> p.s I'll probably only say this once in my lifetime but well done to Kings Lynn for the show last night and well done to Team GB...jeez glad thats that over with!
  7. Sounds like something out of the bible!Maybe the Omens are gathering and Rob Lyin has had a visitation from 'Higher Forces' telling him of his teams great impending victory at Vojens in the Lair of the Great Satan (or in this case Ole Olsen ) Glad everyone enjoyed the meeting. As for the final...well 'you've got to have a dream,if you don't have a dream, how you gonna make a dream come true?'to quote my old chum Captain Sensible Enjoy! At least don't come bloody last
  8. I say, one does apologise if one has had trouble picking up ones Scottish dialect old bean I must get round to writing that Scots to English phrasebook sometime soon Inspector71!Middle Class????!!!! Nah-common as muck mate and proud of it
  9. Nice one CMV06 Glad you and your new 'speedway fans to be' enjoyed it.Gollob was immense wasn't he?He was a nail on winner before his bike decided to die.It Takes a top man to come on and apologise so fair play to you
  10. Wow you sound like you have a right chip on your shoulder about the Poles SJM.Are you one of those paranoid xenophobic little Englanders? You need to have that looked at pronto. Also 'sponsors names on race jackets' (as was said in a previous post)...whatever next? Get over yourself and enjoy your speedway regardless of race jackets or the nationality of sponsors/riders etc...it's all trivial keek
  11. Unfortunately there are drunken erseholes everywhere whether they be Polish,Scottish,English or wherever they come from. You can 'party on' but still have consideration for others and not spoil it for everyone.Sounds as if the stewarding for the event could be a bit better by the sound of it
  12. Glad to hear that Shadders That crap has no place in any society
  13. Because they are one of the sponsors and trying to promote their fabulous new stadium i suppose.Judging from what i've seen on Sky i'd love to go there myself!
  14. Hey Shadders sorry but offence taken at your Polish remark.People were quick enough to have a go at Dekkers 'stavros kebab king' remark about yourself. It goes both ways.I've come across a fair bit of anti-Polish crap in speedway and cycle speedway, and it's starting to get on my ** tbh. On a better note i thought the GP was very entertaining tonight.Tomasz Gollob was immense and was a stick on to win. So unlucky to stop, best rider by a mile.Brits were guff though Scotty Nic deserved more for his efforts.Happy for Holder who rode really well and seems a bonzer bloke-good luck to him.
  15. Yes Invitation to CMVO6 hasn't gone down well with my fellow countrymen.in fact they mentioned building extensions on to Hadrians Wall and passport checkpoints Cardiff a great experience but expensive and not for the "speedway purist" to quote Dave Lanning
  16. More Power to you Stevebrum!Like yourself iam not a fan of the one off tracks like Cardiff.Went there the first year-fantastic occasion even though i was a mile up in the gods.As for the racing it was pretty dire.Maybe my bottle of single malt whisky helped me along I could always invite our good friend CMVO6 up to Bonnie Scotland....but then again..
  17. Hey there CMVO6 i would be more than happy to meet up with you,and you would find out i am no "keyboard commando geek".You should at least have some intellectual backup to the keek you are coming out with.People who don't back up there arguments with something substantial get on my bristols.Best of luck with your new job by the way.It would give me great pleasure to "leave you alone" justTHINK before your keyboard starts spouting crapola .May peace and a sense of humour be with you my son.p.s my animal friend Tomek will be at Cardiff too so we can have a jolly old kneesup together If your patience is wearing thin there's an offer on ebay at the moment-enjoy
  18. Dear Mr CMVO6,I am delighted to inform you that your application for the village idiot post has been successful. Please report Monday morning.Your duties will include scuba diving with a party of stupid rich tourists in the River Ouse, and being slapped about the pus with an halibut.once again my congratulations. yours etc etc
  19. Mr CMVO6-you sir are just an insult full stop.Love a healthy debate/disagreement with anybody, but you must have a brain cell to back it up -somewhere in deepest merry old England a village is missing it's idiot-get your cv together your in with a shout
  20. Thank you for the welcome Mr Silvers, but i am not the 'legend' that is Snyper though i am from the same neck of the woods.Fed up with attitudes like Mr Cooke and Mr Plop -as i've said the origin of the referee is irrelevant and all this turd about "bloody Poles" is an insult to decent peoples intelligence.English(yes and Scottish )refs have done exactly the same thing-FACT.Never makes it alright, but theres an underlying whiff of bigotry coming through on some postings-and they can do the same thing that AJ told the ref to last night!
  21. No chips on shoulders my "friend" just sick and fed up of dudes like yirsel coming on and spoting crap-a crap ref is a crap ref regardless of their origin.I wonder if an English ref (god forbid) has shall we say assisted a fellow countryman in a similar situation....gasp surely not??!!!You should pull yir heid out yir erse my good man or you will disappear up it Peace to all. p.s total turd of a meeting on a concrete motorway ring road-abysmal.pps whats Tomek supposed to say to the ref-you were wrong? These bams who are calling him a cheat should do exactly what AJ (kool dude said in his interview(twice!) cheers peeps
  22. Agreed about all this racist crap thats been posted by people who have the i.q of a sausage roll-it has no place in society, never mind speedway. For the record i believe the referee is a p1ss poor excuse for a ref,but his race is irrelevant.Unfortunately this ref is typical of many new refs currently.Bad refs are nothing new of course-it's just that there's more of them these days.So my racist chums away and boil yir hee haws Well done to Tomek! It aint his fault the refs a phallic object
