Starting to look forward to the 2014 season now,so thought i'd pop ma heid roond the door and say hi to all..have i missed much? I hate the close season as those who know me will attest lol,but now we have less than 8 weeks to go..yay I did pop in and have a wee look at some of bsfs winter episodes,but must admit some of the so-called 'banter' from the usual suspects along the M8 and other poor souls from further afield (you all know who you are ) was pishpoor tbh,like the Tiggers team for 2014 (only joking folks don't get out yir prams).With those ex Monarchs on board you must and will do better surely..2nd bottom is yours for the taking No,but seriously, here's hoping for a great season for the Monarchs,Scottish speedway,and indeed speedway in general..see you at tapes up

A great night was had by all It was so nice to catch up with a lot old faces & Monarchs legends (The Fish,Peter Carr,Frede Schott,LC,Kevin Little & also many others from other teams Derek has served) who gladly gave their services to one of the best most likeable & inspirational captains in Monarchs history This meeting was richly deserved and as always the promotion,organisers & supporters who gave their time did the main man Deeks proud...roll on the next one wee man

Cookie has been a fantastic team man for the Monarchs despite all the guff hurled at him about Ht 15 at Foxhole on Thursday by some of the Broomstick Brigade..that is a 100% fact and no Monarchs fan has ever said otherwise about Craig As for the whiney comments on here & twitter about the Legendary KJ's updates from the Dale on tuesday (and generally slagging off Chatzone and some of it's members as well tbh) by Mr HadEnough & others..get a sense of humour amongst other things would be my advice.. As has been said in other posts there is room for more than voice on updates thankfully,and i must say they ALL do a very valuable service that is much appreciated by all us speedway fans.. well most of us it appears
