I was actually going to add that the 'whiter than white' Edinburgh Monarchs would never pull such a stroke Gaz but.. Banters banter n aw that and a good natured wind up is one of the good fun things on this forum but to wish broken legs and stuff on speedway riders?Thats really out of order..I just hope whoever it is has a serious word with themselves though i wont hold my breath ..
On a slightly more serious note this charming message landed in my inbox earlier from a Workington fan..i wont name the wee charmer but he knows who he is! I wouldnt usually put private messages on the forum of course but this one made me really angry. It's pretty sad when it comes to this after what happened to poor Lee Richardson and other riders sadly but there ya go.It would appear that my bit of good natured banter about Richard Lawson 'pulling a sickie' has set someones spiteful braincell off..Teams/riders have done this for years and it's part of the sport.Oh dear.. i guess fun aint allowed on the forum anymore in the mind of this chap.. I do know that this guy is in a minority (of one probably i'm glad to say) amongst Workington fans by the way.Anyways on to better things.. it should be a belter of a match and lets hope for great racing and no injuries of course
It was addressed to 'the master of tripe' the only bit that made me laugh.... I quote
"hope ypo break a nail and cant type a decent reply. you may have sat on a speedway bike, but only to have your photo taken with your favourite rider . cant see us winning at emmerdale, so hope all your riders beak a leg or two.
then you may have some sence" .
yosser.
You're not Richards mammy are you?! I have been on a speedway bike before as it goes, but not i'm glad to say with a dislocated shoulder..even I'm not that mad! Personally i hope Rene is riding as he is always entertaining and gives it a crack.I was standing about twenty yards away from his crash at Owlerton on sunday and it was a scary one Here's hoping he's ok
Now now Big Tsu there's nae need to go all bitter and twisted at the whiter than white Monarchs just cos the 'True League Champions' fell by the wayside last weekend!
Helfer is racing in a lot of end of season continental meetings according to reports Mr Snaps.. On another subject i see that Richard 'Rastaman' Lawson is being replaced by guest Aaron Summers on friday as his shoulder 'hasnt responded to treatment'. Call me Mr Cynical but isnt this is just a wee bit convenient after Richards pish poor showings at Armadale in the recent past, and last saturdays ahem grasstrack meeting at Derwent Park?! I'm prepared to be shot down in flames for doubting the poor wee soul.. if he has an excuse note written and signed by his mammy of course..
I dont know whats behind the guff you post about Cookie tbh davidj but It was a meeting that could have got us a shot at the Premier league title so how do you expect the guy to feel about being cheated out of that? Have a look at this and maybe you'll see why he was a bit peed off (along with the rest off us Edinburgh fans!)I think you'd be a tad angry yourself ya baby a'se! https://www.facebook...&type=1
Would agree that Ashley is a good lad and a good young up and coming rider.I think he can go as far in the sport as he wants. To my eyes he certainly has the right attitude and the natural talent to make it
Class?Aye if you say so!Cheating aint 'class' no matter how you wrap it up me auld marra.Excuse me for asking.. but grasstracking and speedway are still two different sports arent they?!
Poor from the Monarchs tonight..very disappointing.A pretty strange choice of guest to be honest though thanks to Cory for his efforts of course:-)Such a shame Cookie was injured last sunday as he would have made a real difference im sure:-(Will Ipswich be naming Tom Daley in the line up for next weeks return at the Dale by the way? ;-)
Can't speak for George obviously, but i think he was just saying that she is an attractive knowledgeable lady, who would do a great job on Sky Sports UK?Nothing to get out your pram about PolskiZuzel imo!Correct me if i'm wrong here George btw!You surely meant whipround as in a collection of people generously donating money for a worthy cause?
Ouch! That crash should have been a season closer!Credit to him for riding at all again that season. Here's hoping nothing like that happens again, and that Tomasz is deservedly crowned this years World Champion. He was immense in Vojens last night. Was very impressed by Jason Crump too.He has turned in to a very good sportsman.IMO that wasn't always the case, but he is a very good ambassador for our sport.
Reasonably central for people who want to come from all corners of the U.K! It aint all abaht the bleedin' Sarf you know! Somerset would be great but it aint up to FIM standard yet unfortunately.Sheffields a fantastic race track, and would do it proud.Leaping Len has to have a serious word with himself.
Sheffield would have been an ideal venue for this prestigious meeting in my opinion. It's reasonably central, has good facilities, and is one of the best racetracks in the country.Obviously, not as good as the slick gaters dustbowl at Hoddesdon.. Speedway shoots itself in the foot..again!Dear dear....
I knew what you were going to say too Big Tsu!It's uncanny!I'm only sorry i'm not a betting man... Btw it's not only flyin' Ryans testimony to your 'wonderful' racetrack i'm going by..I could fill out dozens of others!Including.. Some of your own riders past and present!!
Hey ML hope alls well with you.Read you were in the hospital. All the best.'EFB' who posted that vile crud this morning needs help doesn't he?LOL.Anyhoo take care now ttfn
