Fantastic GP with some quality racing and a bit of dirt on the track - long may that continue for the rest of the season. Harris did well to get to semi but made a shocking gate and Tai looked well out of his depth unfortunatley!!
You have to be joking...glad Lindgren, Andersen and Tai have got one but Kennett!! How on earth has he got in the series in front of Harris, Richardson, Zagar, Lindback...unbelievable and he will be lucky to win one race in the series all year!!
Defo Freddie Lindgren because he has made a couple of rostrums this season, Hans will get one on his reputation plus he was fighting it out until the last GP for a top 8 slot!!
Matej Zagar would be my next choice due to his good season and then on to the Brit debate for the final slot. Scott Nicholls will never get back in next season and Harris should also not, if he had put up more of an effort on Saturday and learnt to gate then maybe give him another chance!! It then moves on to for me either Tai or Richardson and in my opinion if we are going to go with the future then Tai should be in the series and with Holder and Emil will make the season one of the most exciting for a few seasons. Sure Tai will struggle in a few rounds and at other rounds he will make semi finals but that only sounds like Zorro to me!!
Come on Tai!!
Well done to Holder, Zorro and Hampel on qualifying for next year through the challenge and Bjerre and Lindgren are sure to be in there anyway!!
Not sure how Zorro will fare next year and with Harris not qualifying last night I think its time for Tai in the GPs!!
Ouch that looks very nasty indeed and no wonder he looked in agony!! Bjarne not riding either...Hans and Hougaard in for Nicki and Bjarne....gives me hope we can battle with the Danes at least!!
Well the amount of times I have seen Rico be a one trick pony - 'either gate and win or trail in last'.
Rico has been the best rider for Britain in the last couple of years but it was an ideal opportunity to use the young lads and we were never going to beat Australia or Poland whoever we put out!!
Rico should have been in for Kennett who can not ride big tracks and does not have the speed!!
Fantastic meeting and great advert for speedway...the racing has been superb and Danny King has been awesome for the Brits.
The race off is going to be a cracker with Brits, Aussies, Danes and Swedes!! From tonights performance the Brits should be: -
Harris, Bridger and King
Rico for Kennett
Either Woffy or Nicholls depending on Rob Lyon's frame of mind but would love to see Woffy ride in the meeting!!
Why not book a hotel a few miles further out, and travel in say 20 miles on the morning, first thing. You can still get parked up early and enjoy the day. Only problem, you have to drive back after the meeting, so if you can't keep off the drink it'll be no good for you.
These are advertised on Speedway World, but when accessing the booking site, I can find all the tickets apart from the £29 ones. Does anyone know anything about this?
Thanks
2 years ago we stayed at DGI Byens which is just across from the railway station and convenient for Tivoli etc. It was reasonable, perhaps basic but clean rooms. Food in restaurant was good. However a big plus is the indoor swimming pool and 10 pin bowling in the same complex. Rooms are available for next year.
