NO, I would have difficulty defending a liar.

Presenters And Announcers
Tsunami replied to LondonSpeedwayFan71's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Also used to be an announcer at St James Park, alongside Alan Robson from Metro Radio fame. Alan got thrown out and they sacked Barry as well. -
I will post what you said to Mike if that is OK with you.
-
Rose signed for the same Poland team that Hancock signed, for in their second division. It is a squad he has join, but he would have to ride at least some Sundays, so that might be difficult to accept especially if we didn't get a facility for him. I am going with a very similar team, but possible minus Ludde to Edinburgh, and just wonder if we could get Bates or a below 8 EL rider as our new number 1.
-
So substitute Programme for Speedway Mail and everything you said was untrue was true so a complete lie by you. You tried a bluff but you now admit you lied. Many Thanks.
-
You have changed for the worse since you first joined the forum this year. Too may trying to be in the gang.
-
I'm afraid you are not really in the touch with the real world, if you jokingly think you expected that outcome. But hey ho its sarcasm so it's alright. Marketing can be a drip drip with initiatives, and being supplemented with other initiatives. I don't see companies like Sainsburys, Asda, etc just putting an advert in a local freebie paper. I do see leaflet drops, National adverts on TV, Bill boards and national newspapers. You tend to talk down everything at the moment, which gets tedious and loses you credibility.
-
Funny that. In many previous discussions about speedway attendance, I have regularly put those facts to you, and never once have you denied that you stopped going when you were asked to pay. You also DID say that you would not go to BV even if they gave you a free pass for life, and we discussed it and you stated you preferred to watch it on TV, and were perfectly in a position to express your opinion still on Speedway even if you chose to not attend. Nurse Nurse.

He regularly posts on Facebook if you want to contact him there.

You certainly did. On our visit in that season Jonas was riding racing lines I had never seen work before at AE. The best ride I ever saw there. It was a shame how Chalkies career went after the problems he had to deal with, which just about finished a career that had suddenly picked up.
-
You think, and have said, you wouldn't attend live speedway anymore even if they gave you a lifetime free pass, and all because when the Speedway Mail closed you were then asked to pay to get into BV. Some real supporter you are, and best ignored.
-
Well you would wouldn't you.
-
So it appears to be good wanted by the fans, but Promoters just saving pennies, whilst asking for them to drop Heat 15 which if they did they would be slated for cheapening the product. You don't talk much sense do you. About as must as most non attendees.
-
And there was me thinking that you were always negative.
-
Yes. yellow and black and I have had PM's to clear up the misunderstanding. No problem and I liked their post.
-
I think most people think that Kennett will be a shoein for Lakeside this year. From what I heard last year, both him and Robbo actually work at the track on the stadium improvements.
-
I followed your logic in every paragraph till your last one. Why having solved the problem, do you want to go back and get situations where some DU's are riding for their proper clubs in say the PL, and not available for their second club in the CL, if they are riding that night as well. Different nights means NO conflicts.
-
No doubt this and other things that were discussed, but not reported in the AGM statement, will be released running up to the start of the season as usual.
-
Tero ?

Wow Wow Wow. No chance. Riders and freeloaders are already a big menace to many tracks. If a rider wants to attend let them apply to the promotion in advance. Why should a Newcastle rider get a pass to use to get into BV say. What's in it for BV ? How popular would a past rider be if others knew he had a pass to get others in free of charge.
-
I quite agree. I think it was meant to be a catchup personal interview, to get the info out to another audience. Filmed in a pub, well it might have been the easiest and most appropriate location to peacefully film the clip. Funny how the 'learned' on here cry out for greater use of the internet and media and only criticise it when it happens. BTW there has been a marked increase in the use of say Facebook/Twitter with updates and news being pushed, I think, on direction after last years AGM. I say that because Redcar, Berwick and Newcastle now carry regular bulletins on Facebook/Twitter with 'prompting' posts of meetings coming up, as well as success elsewhere by their own riders.

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2018
Tsunami replied to IronScorpion's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Richie cast iron cert for Glasgow, and no chance of Steve or Robert at Brough, due to all of them riding in Poland on Sundays. -
Nigel Pearson in his vid also says one home and one away. Less reason to start early, and should be a better chance of getting all fixtures done before the pressure of the PlayOffs.
-
Are you getting mixed up with Peter Collins and not Chris Morton who was being talked about. The Collins affair has already been fully discussed and the attention here is Morton's situation.
