  1. There's a few places I went through after the meeting on Friday, due to me turning a junction early after the M8 and ending up in your great square and passing a huge brewery. Missed the Kirkintilloch turn off many times, but to miss a turn coming out is a first for me. Nice city though.
  2. Yes I am the Team Manager of those young lads + Jimmy Culbert for the night last Friday, and to see my star pupil Archie Freeman pick up the NJL 125 championship at Edinburgh the week before.
  3. General complain is that we have too much shale on our track. Sorts the men out from the boys mind you with the ones attacking the track doing the best. Was at Edinburgh the week before, when Glasgow were there(well should have turned up I think) and left with a clean car.
  4. A pity that lad wasn't outside Glasgow Stadium last Friday, as he could have removed all the shale dust that I carried back to Whitley Bay, and was still there on Saturday morning.
  5. Yes, asking you if he can 'look' after your parked car for a fee. It's cheaper to pay and smile.
  6. Yes, but you have to head for Springburn first, and then Kirkintilloch(what a great name that is, best said by say a 90year woman with rimless glasses)
  7. There was more action behind the scenes during the week getting this meeting on, than what we saw on the track. The meeting eventually took place with some decent racing between two even sides with opposite strengths in the different classes. Very strong pairing in 500's for the Giants, who were looking for 3 5-1's, till Josh gated in their third rides and split Ryan and Dale, and had to fight off the hard chasing Lamb. In the 125/150 class, Freeman was another maximum man, with a bike spluttering Smith giving him good support with his 4+1 tally. The result means the Giants will probably finish third whilst a Gems victory would have pipped them. Another good advert for junior racing in the UK.
  8. I say bring back his Dad. He never failed to get it right, before he changed it to make it worse. In those days Willie didn't dare touch his bike, so now he is probably still learning.
  9. Surely it would depend on the circumstances. if a promotion was kicked out because of an outrageous act by the stadium owner, there would be no doubts about the promotion. Unlike a club quitting because of massive debts to riders and the BSPA, in which case they would be held accountable.
  10. What apathetic individual you must be. I stand with the Redcar fans when I am there by request, and fortunately you seem to be one of the last dregs of certain fans that no longer go. Fortunately you are not representative of the majority of Bears fans. You aren't the fat lump in the white shirt in the second temps stand are you ?
  11. You and the ref must have been the only ones in th Arena with that view.
  12. Not even the same league, so get over it. At least Diamonds fans weren''t wishing a death wish on Barker, unlike the terrace bar crowd were in Richie's case !!!( and Andrew Tully's as well)
  13. That's what was reported last night and he had said that to his mechanic. Does that make BB blameless ????
  14. See how sour you would be when you are shoved into the fence and shatter your shoulder and arm in many places. Unfortunately there are still morons like you in our sport.
  15. And your two contributions to this thread, and in view of the seriousness of the 'attack' by Barker, shows that village idiots are not a thing of the past.
  16. I thought they were Neil, as long as they were your assets.
  17. But there could be opportunities when signing another rider could be desirable or essential. Multiple injuries and guests would be a worse option than new signings.
