Just the same as this is what others usually expect from you. Negative crap.

Or a sledge. But there's time yet.

And why shouldn't they.

Sadly it wasn't on offer. The gravy would probably have drowned the bite.

Hi ruff, but forgot I was going to reply. I blame the 5 pints after the King Donner last night. A good night with a decent showing with all 3 owners, and of course mine host was John Taylor of Boilertech our main sponsor, who's son in law has the pub The Shakespears Tavern, Guide Post. Nothing formal just a bit of craic, pie, peas and gravy, together with tickets for 2 free drinks. Can we not have one of these every week ? Roy had brought a DVD with cuttings from Sunderland and other tracks, and lots of old Newcastle teams and our PL winning season. That went down well. No talk of the future team, I think cos that wasn't the point of the night, but there will be a Xmas Party this year the 22nd December at the PTE, which is going to be formally announced soon, so get it your diary, but I don't think tickets for 2 free drinks will be on offer.

It does.

Not really John, as Rasmus was the point of discussion between Singy and mac101 earlier in the discussion. Sheffield as was ? That's how I bought Jesper in 1997. Agreed.

I think you are overstating the reaction that you say is distain and jealousy Gaz. Most clubs/supporters would love to have the improvements in the stadium and the quality of the team that Glasgow has delivered. It upgrades the sport in general when it can be shown the bar has been raised, in the same way Belle Vue did with the National Stadium. Unfortunately Glasgows aggressive approach to being the best does have an effect of the running and the costs that other clubs pay their riders. Once a new top heatleader pay level has been reached by one club, it cascades down for all the other number 1's to ask for more money, and then the. lesser heatleaders and second strings get in on the act. Same with sign-on's. Riders can stick out for the increase and ultimately clubs have to fall in line to give their fans the team that the fans want and will support. It's rather being shortsighted/unbelievable to think one club doesn't affect the rates of pay of another club. I note on here that many fans don't really, or pretend not to, know the rates that Glasgow has paid its riders in the recent years. Other fans know probably to the pound, because it is talked about widespread in the pits and I could have given you at least three riders wages from a couple of years ago. It's not really a secret anywhere. I think the irony to the rest of us is that Glasgow is bleating about losing a lot of money(most than any other club I know about), and appealing for more volunteers and saying they can't go on like this and continue with such losses. Who caused it ?

Doesn't usually need to go to the BSPA, as the clubs settle in on the basis that a rider will go where he wants to go to. I get the impression that with the BSPA holding Rasmus's registration that he might have been an asset of a defunct club and the BSPA then own the registration for administration purposes. Actually on the asset list, all foreign riders are under the column of BSPA riders as the BSPA are responsible for getting the "permission to ride" from the appropriate foreign federation even though they are owned by a club..

Normally there is only one 2 minutes warning. A reasonable period of time is allowed for the changeover of riders from the previous race to the next race, and to keep to the desired pace of the meeting, a ref puts on the 2 minute warning to try and meet the 4 minutes allowance. There has to be extenuating circumstances to require more that one 2 minute warning.

Date of Birth 2/8/ 2001.

I would only have taken Covatti in that threesome. Garrity is not cheap and unreliable with injuries, whilst Nicholls didn't join us last year and, like Kennett, is very Southern based. Might hear a bit more, even a signing or two, at the track staff night out tomorrow night.

Plus VAT and Track grading.

People on here talk about bad promoters, but as shown by some comments on here, they are more than matched by bad fans who try and contaminate the sport.
-
Rubbish. Matching the terms, but not affording the expensive add ons does not make the club rich.
-
With the existing promotions deciding to stay on and run the franchises, could it be that Buster hasn't exactly bought them, but contributed to keep them in the PL.

Not true. Check the rules in Section 15 Racing Rules 15.2.1 to 15'2.7. The 4 minutes is the guideline for refs to pace the meeting, so each heat should normally start about 4 minutes after the last start of the previous heat. When the riders are coming out onto the track the ref puts on the 2 minutes, and the rider has to do anything he needs to do, and be ready to race, and under the control of the Start Marshall, who will then advise the ref the race is ready to start. Read the rules properly
-
That's not true now. If the clock was introduced, the same rules as the GP would probable be adopted. Riders going the wrong way, crossing the centre green, not being ready at the tapes, are all in the control of the rider, There is no way, under even the present rules, that a rider could use up 4 minutes after the start of the normal 2 minutes and still be allowed to be in that race.
-
With many, including waytogo, that's just about impossible. Only interested in doom and gloom, and trying to tell others how to run speedway. FFS.
-
What's the 2 minute rule displayed on a clock, got anything to do with H & S. It's about pace of a meeting, and making sure the 2 minutes is administered fairly rather than be random as you quoted earlier.

Is Gail not a second promoter to Rob at Scunny ?
-
Promoters know, it's not agree till it's all agreed. If they move early, and get caught out, so be it, but I find it hard to believe that a team that signs 3 or 4 riders can't refocus and still sign decent riders to make up to 7 instead of 6 riders. Always happened, and will always be that way. We lost a top heat leader about 2 years ago after he had done the deal, but within days he was contacted by a rich club with slightly higher terms, but with a great sign-on agreement. We agreed to match the terms, but could not deliver the sign-ons so off he went and lost his place sometime afterwards
-
Nice to see him getting good advice looking toward the future. When we signed Robert Lambert in his second season with us, he stayed with us as he already knew that we had chased him 4 times to join us, and our small track matched well with his large track in the PL at Kings Lynn. He probably could have got more money somewhere else, but he was impressed with how we cared for him, and the mix of tracks were the deciding factors.
-
Has Ipswich signed him and loaned him to Sheffield for 2019 ?

Kus and Pepe.
