Yes, class rider. I nearly signed him in about 2003 for my Gems team, so have watched his progress ever since. Why not ?
-
Ha Ha. Once a rider signs for the Diamonds, thats exactly what he is, Our Diamond. Hope the contract is signed, sealed, and already been logged with the BSPA. Must admit I am surprised at this signing, but at least it's starting again, and giving us a new look and a new approach. Be impatient now to see who the 3 riders are. I'm assuming Danny on a 2, and that makes just over 13.76 for the remaining 2. Interesting that if Danny is signed he would ride with Max and resume their partnership that started their league debuts at Scunny many years ago. Looking forward to it. Perhaps one more to be announced before the Xmas Party, and the last one at the Party ?. £8 per ticket for the PTE Club, Tickets can be purchased via the info@ link on the club's website. Get you tickets early as the last couple were very near sellouts.

Head in the sand attitude. How can others like me, Honest John and HalifaxTiger and many others, all know instances of such dealings over a reasonable period of time and not just about this transfer period. It happens, put your earmuffs on, but it still happens.

I hope it is Newcastle.
-
I think the better reserves will get plenty of guest bookings for missing or misfiring reserves of other teams.

With not choosing riders who also ride in Poland, and not riding on the exclusive days for Premier league meetings, should mean that we should be seeing the same riders every week, but riding for their own team. This is what people wanted for this year as there should be little or no doubling up. Other teams turning up a guest because of a rider in Poland is out of the hands of the Newcastle promotion, but should be at a minimum. Does this new interest in Newcastle mean you are returning to Brough or continuing to stay away ? Better be quick and get you season ticket tho.

If you don't have enough, or any assets, the BSPA give you a figure you must lodge with them, in addition to the mandatory bond which is held to cover speedway losses if you can't continue. If say Hulme was their rider, and his estimated value was £1500, and the minimum asset value for each club in your league was say £15k, you would have to pledge the difference which would be £13.5K -

Are you back here again. Now skidaddle, and move yourself to the other section like you said. See you tomorrow but. -
The decision makers weren't trying to work around a Cook to number 1 probably.
-
Yes, and with the fastest time of the night. Must have been great to watch.
-
There is no problem with that as Leon's granddad is bossman in the pits, and that gives Gary his full time to oversee the team as a whole. if Leon struggles at a meeting, his granddad will be the best judge and advise Gary.

Due to the shortage of 125/150 riders it is necessary to consider the format. AGM is being planned for a January AGM.

Send him upto Newcastle Please. -
Yes, but I was thinking a no 1 to championship standard, who might only be a second string in the Premier. Most of those you have quoted seem to already have a home, but just not announced, I really couldn't care about my mate Tomas J. Hope he goes to Redcar actually.

Even a club that charges a food unit a site rent on a speedway night will not receive anything, just make more profit/trade for the food unit.

Got the sum the wrong way round with what we had used up, and what we had left. So it's Ludde , Kus and Palovaaro plus Danny then. Incidently, tonight in the RonnieGill, Martin is quoted as saying him and George were currently talking to a top Championship no 1. It seems like all the no 1's are taken so I wonder if the option of an already signed Premier rider is under consideration, as long as he doesn't ride in Poland of course. Plenty of time to get decent riders, and looking forward to the Xmas Party on the 22nd December at the PTE club. Tickets £8 ordered through the email address quoted on the Diamonds website. Pay by PayPal.

Hopefully it would make a 42.50 team come to 38.00 instead.
-
Agreed. he is a great gater and very tenacious when behind. I remember a couple of years ago he stood in for the visitors at no 7, and led at the first corner, and never dropped off after he had been passed. Could be a breakthrough year given this chance, and I could have fancied having him at Newcastle.
-
I think he is the Riss brother that rides long track. I would like him, and remember he had a higher average that Wells last year so that says something. He also rode very well at the 4's. Bit high at 8.58 to fit in though. I think you can assume Danny on a 2.00, that would leave 38.00 - 25.95 = 12.05 for the last 3 riders. Ludde or Kus and another 2 pointer plus about a 4 pointer to finish the team off. Pretty difficult to get a good balanced team with such a low team points total but at least it's the same for everyone.
-
As long as Wullies pop doesn't step up.
-
You could be right, and if so he also should have the reduction.
-
Because the reduction is for coming through the Conference/National League prior to riding for the team in a higher league. Richie rode in the Conference team I think at Scunny, but Harris probably only rode for Trewlawny in the PL before going on to bigger teams.

Once a team signs a loan contract, they can collect a loan from another club who he moves on to. It is assumed the loaning club has paid for the rider that year, and if he moves on again they collect the loan fee, not the original owner who loaned the rider out in the first place. It may be different now, but I think cross league loan moves assume the converted average between the two leagues. I remember reading about Coventry, I think who had paid £4500 to loan Hans Andersen many years ago(between 2 Elite teams) so it can be seen that it is quite lucrative to have your assets working even if it is for someone else.
-
Yes THJ. There is about 4 bands of averages(say 3-5, 5-7,7-9, and 9 and over) and each rate has a financial value against it. You multiply the value against the actual average, and you get the loan fee due for a season. i would guess a loan fee for Cookie would be about £3k to a championship team.
-
No he is not.
