What a loss to speedway and Wolverhampton you are going to be. Nigel Pearson, CVS, Nicki P, all the Great Britain team(except current popular CH), a lot of people on here including Me and Silver Bee now, all your favourite people. To paraphrase you, I was watching speedway when you were c**ping in your pants young woman but it don't make you or I a better person. There is opinions and being opinionated, you decide. Or as you keep telling everyone DEAL WITH IT. Very nice. -

Given that all the other company's have no plans for Speedway, it is therefore no surprise that SKY have a monopoly when they show the sport on TV. More power to their elbow and praise where it is due. If they pulled out would you moan about them then. Briam Hamilton has it right, we should be delighted that they are giving us tremendous publicity(and paying for the priviledge). -

Cheers. It looks like trains or car hire at the mo. Wor lass has written to the Embassy asking for advice. -
A complete and stupid suggestion. You obviously do not know the man and what's important to speedway riders. It was in Ivan's interest to be associated with the "new" world champion" and your saying that he put him out on a duff bike so his rider would lose a world championship. Utter nonsense. Be interesting to hear Steve Hone's reaction to such a suggestion.

Not practical(or viable) but perhaps you know something that all promoters over the years have failed to spot. The solution is in actual qualifiers or strict criteria for selection for a meeting that is viable. -

Me, Wife, Ginga daughta and her boyfriend going to Dussledorf on the Thursday out of Leeds/Bradford with Jet2. On the Saturday travelling up to Gelsenkirchen also stay over night and then direct to the Dusseldorf airport on the Sunday morning. Anybody got a clue the best way to get to Gelsenkirchen on the Saturday and then to the airport on the Sunday. Any assistence considered. -

Nicki Pedersen Slams Cardiff

Can't really believe the news report. The guy wanted it and when the following rider came under him he let the bike run but his weight shifted to the back and the inevitable flip was going to happen. The posturing was always going to happen no matter who the rider was, it's standard practice. Note he didn't carry on about it but walked sadly off. Funny how people who don't like him seem to see things different. Oh well, they will be back next year paying into the pot to watch him again. Although the track is the same for everyone, I didn't realised how bad it was cut up until the lights went out and they only had the spots on. With the low down light there were massive ruts everywhere signified by the shadows where the ruts were. All riders did well to ride that track and gave us some scarry fast racing. -

At about the second Cardiff GP a certain Newcastle rider and his mechanic managed to crawl under the green netting on the third bend and thrust a large Dannish flag in Nicki's hand. They crawl back and went back into the crowd. -

Hoi. I said the result was as the ref put the red lights on and only those under power were in the frame. Tsunami 1 Confused of Newport nowhere. I will call my first witness Bubbly Buzzy(the missus). Anyway, seeing as you have said, I suppose I have got to say it was great to see you again in the excellent company of Silver Bee, Buzzy Bee, a friend, the majestic Pinny and occasionally Paulco between pee and beer breaks. All we needed was KevH with us and it would have been like Happy Families. Pleased to see the Pole was OK after his hit on the pits gate. Everyone is concerned about the headbutt on the fence. When you think what happens to the rider when the bike stops in zero seconds it is his crown jewels that are at serious risk. There's no helmet there, well I know there is but not the same type that there is on his head. Pleased the meeting went ahead. When Paulco went in for his taster, he did think that it was difficult to see how it was going to be on. It dried out quickly and seriously need a few mini sprays from Paulco to keep the track dust down and add a bit of grip. Nice to pick up again with Lubos and of course Byron, Jackie, Jade and friends. Shame about the crowd, the field deserved better but I suppose the weather put some off. -

Despite that I still think it is a good idea. How many times have you seen a rider try a manouver which was decidedly risky and only just pulls it off. If it hadn't come off both the rider in question and his opponent could have had a ride to the hospital. Same with football when say someone does a high tackle but the other player jumps up just in case. The intent was still there and only by the evasive action of the other player prevented a major injury. The consistency of the refs and their judgements would be the reason why it would not work. Perhaps for a trial the refs could call the offending rider to the phone and warn him that he thought his riding was out of order and he would take action in future. The rider would know that he was being held accountable and was walking a tight rope. Worth a try. -
You haven't seen the speedway team yet.

Well done Nicki. Does nothing controversial, is on the rough end of some rough riding by his fellow countryman, and still comes in second. Some rider, some World Champion. The people's choice.
