Do some folks not think before they post/moan See BILKO's reply. NB Anybody else got another moan -
They are usually slow because of the number of discrepancies between what the BSPA have, and what each club's statistician thinks it should be. Quite a bit of clarification needed to get it right, given the importance of teams planning a side using agreed figures which are then rubber stamped at the AGM. That is the agreed procedure.

Dodgy area agreeing to pay riders guaranteed wages without being mostly based on performance.

And you miss the point. If what you might be insinuating was true, they would have taken all of the banners off. instead they removed the ones in the middle of the corner which are in the sight line of the riders, when entering the corner at speed. Any more grouses. -
According to the weather forecasts, it is going to rain very hard with high winds tonight, but tailing off a bit early hours of Tuesday morning.

I was told that it was the council who were responsible for it and Neil was not best pleased, having to argue for fans rights to bring in baby food, chocolate for diabetics and special food brought in for nut allergy sufferers. -

And we were in the lead if I remember right, and still let it slip due to those low scores. -

And have never spoke against it, so what's ya point. -
Only if those rates were lower, and a deal did not include things such as flights, accomodation, workshops, transport, etc. There has always been an 'exchange rate' for the home promoter to pay the visiting riders, with the visiting promotion paying the top up for their actual agreed pay rate. Over the season, of course, it does balance itself out.

Another factor in play is that Claes will return to the second string spot and the Guest for Richie as senior reserve will return as from 1st October. Depending on who's available that could strengthen us. -

That's what I forecast will happen. Newcastle will then go for Edinburgh and Scunny will be left with Somerset. So that's Newcastle - Leicester - Edinburgh (Friday Saturday Sunday weekend for us) and Scunny - Worky - Somerset.(Friday X2 and Saturday) We might have to consider a full weekend for our ties, as we also have to have to ride meetings against Worky and Somerset in the KO Cup and LC -

Quite agreed. What team has lost their top rider on a 8.5ish average and not been able to replace him, except with reserves and later with second strings. Rolling averages of course, but I still agree with them in principle. Riders like Starke have given their all for us, but none of them were Stevie Worrall, but that's not their fault. We have missed the twins, even more so than heatleaders. Scunny meeting tonight was getting tight till mid meeting, then they pulled away so we had to get a result. It took Claes and Christian to take heat 14 to make it safe for us and not need to have to draw or win heat 15. I think we will go for Leicester as first pick. -
Don't kid yourself, he is a decent rider. If £60 a point is true, well the riders are doing to the club what Bowen was doing to the barmaid last year. Allegedly.

We spoke with Glanz about 3 years ago and as a result we then signed Dak.

But you always had the Leicester meeting at home to ride off. Hope it all goes well for you all.
